Alexander looked around the wrecked office, then spoke calmly. “Sorry to interrupt, but Ms. Stewart now owns Stewart Group. She has the legal authority to remove you from your positions.

Harvey, still recovering from his last hospital visit, felt a sharp pain shoot through his head again. “Owns most of it? That’s impossible!” he shouted.
Summer stepped forward, her voice cold. “Harvey, I’m just returning the favor. Remember what you said to me that day? Now it’s your turn–get out of the Stewart family”
Evelyn, still holding onto Jasper for support, felt the shock hit her hard. She started to tremble.
For over twenty years, she’d swallowed her pride, waiting for this moment–finally becoming the rightful Mrs. Stewart, Her son had been acknowledged. Everything was supposed to fall into place.
But just like that, everything flipped in a single day.
The shock was too much. Her body went limp, and she collapsed.
Jasper lost his balance without her and nearly fell as well.
Harvey rushed forward in panic. “Mom–Mom!”
Summer watched it all with a cold smirk. “That was pathetic”
Security quickly arrived to escort them out
Jasper was gasping for breath, all his usual arrogance gone. His hand trembled as he pointed at Summer. “You ungrateful brat… I never should’ve let you into this family.”
Harvey fought against the guards, shouting. “Get your hands off me! I’m the young master of the Stewart family–who do you think you’re laying hands on? Summer, I swear I won’t let this go!”
Too bad for him–seven or eight security guards had shown up, Some held them back; others dragged them out. One way or another, all three were forced out of the building.
Just like that, Jasper and his family were out of Stewart Group.
Summer didn’t waste a second. She called an emergency board meeting.
She stepped in to take charge of Stewart Group.
Over the next few days, she quickly got a handle on the business and began running things herself.
At night, she stayed with Julia.
When Julia found out that Jasper had been kicked out, her emotions gradually settled,
She looked at Summer, who sat beside her, slowly cutting an apple with a small knife.
She hesitated for a moment, then finally asked. “Summer… how did you get that 30 percent stake in Stewart Group?”
Summer’s hand paused for a split second.
Julia pressed again. “Did Fraser give it to you?”
Summer thought for a second, then replied softly, “No.”
Julia had been a high–society woman for years–she knew exactly how families like the Grahams operated.

“Summer, if you did this because of me. I don’t want you giving up anything for me.”
Finished
Summer placed the sliced apple onto the plate. Her voice was flat, without a trace of emotion. “It wasn’t for you. He and I were always going to end–sooner or later.”
Julia looked at her daughter’s calm expression and felt her chest tighten with pain.
She was her only daughter, yet she’d never really received her love–not as a child, not ever.
And
now, even as a grown woman, she was still struggling when it came to love.
“Even if it ends, Julia said gently, “I wanted you to leave him with your head held high. Not like this. If you took something from them, people would twist the story. Even if it’s not true, they’ll make it look like it was all about money.”
She knew exactly how these things worked.
She understood how ugly things could get when love got mixed up with power and money.
To the outside world, it would look like Summer had only been with Fraser for the Graham family’s name and influence.
Julia couldn’t bear the thought of her daughter being judged like that.
“Summer, I’d rather be kicked out of the Stewart family with nothing than see you dragged into this. Forget Stewart Group. Give those shares back.”
“Mom,” Summer said quietly.
It had been so long since Julia had heard her call her that.
Just one word–and Julia’s eyes immediately filled with tears.
Summer’s voice was faint, almost detached. A slight tremble ran through it, just barely there.
“Maybe I’m just not the right one for him. And maybe… I never really loved Fraser that much. That’s probably why I could Turn it into a deal. A woman like me isn’t someone he should hold onto.”
Julia closed her eyes and let out a long, aching sigh.
Summer found out from Mike that Fraser was flying back today.
She drove straight to the airport.
The private jet terminal sat just next to the main commercial airport.
Summer arrived early and waited in the corridor near the tarmac not too far from where the plane would land.
She hadn’t told Fraser she was coming
She wanted it to be a surprise.
There was one werk left in their three–month deal, and she didn’t want any regrets.
She just wanted to enjoy the time they had left.
The weather in Havenbrook was perfect–clear skies, bright sun.
A sleek A780 private jet touched down and pulled into position.
The cabin door opened, and a tall man stepped down with quiet confidence.
