Chapter 215 Kidnapping Summer
He still couldn’t help himself; he came anyway.
Hearing her voice, even if it was a voice of rejection, his cold heart began to beat again bit by bit.
He wanted to see her
With that thought, Trevor stood up and strode out.

Summer had a lot of work today, and by the time she got off, it was already quite late. She headed toward the underground parking lot.
Without any warning, the entire parking lot was suddenly plunged into darkness. Summer felt a chill run down her spine as she pressed the button on her car key.
A red car beeped in the distance.
Suddenly, behind her, footsteps echoed through the quiet parking lot, making them sound especially clear.
Summer’s heart skipped a beat. Instinctively, she turned around, but before she could fully face the source of the noise, a blurry shadow flashed before her eyes. In the next instant, a wooden stick smashed into her head.
Summer collapsed onto the ground and fell unconscious.
Yolanda tossed the stick aside, her eyes as cold and evil. She stared down at Summer with a bloodthirsty glare and smiled cruelly.
Then, she grabbed hold of Summer and slowly dragged her toward the dark stairwell nearby.
Trevor’s car was parked not far away. Earlier, when he heard Summer’s voice during the meeting an impulse drove him here to Stewart Group. He hadn’t planned to disturb her; he just wanted to come and take a look at her.
When he saw Summer walking out of the parking lot, Trevor’s dark eyes locked onto her figure.
She still looked as slender and beautiful as ever.
Then, all of a sudden, the parking lot went completely dark. And in the very hext second, he heard Summer scream.
Trevor flung open the car door and jumped out, striding quickly in the direction Summer had just been.
“Summer? Summer, what’s wrong?”
Damn it!
Just then, the parking lot lights flickered back on. Security guards rushed in.
“What happened? The circuit was pulled out!”
“It’s fixed now. Hurry, check if anything seems off!”
Trevor scanned the area quickly. Summer’s car was still there but she was gone. His eyes landed on the phone lying on the ground. Instantly, he had a bad feeling.
Could it be that Peyton still had accomplices? No, that was impossible; she was already in prison.
Trevor’s heartbeat accelerated as he broke into a sprint, shouting, “Find her, now! Someone’s missing”
“Summer! Summer! Where are you? He ran through the parking lot like a madman, searching desperately, but she was

On the rooftop of the mall, Summer woke up with a headache. She slowly opened her eyes, only to be greeted by darkness. But in the distance, she could see railings and the neon lights of high–rise buildings
She instantly recognized this place, it was the rooftop terrace of the mall.
“Who’s there?” Her hands were tied
“Summer.” A cold voice came. Footsteps rang out in the dim light. Step by step, the person approached her.
Summer lifted her head, and out of the darkness. Yolandas scary face emerged. Her eyes glowed with malice, filled with hatred as she glared at Summer
That was when Summer realized that Yolanda had been released from prison.
She gulped. “What do you want?”
Yolanda stepped closer and squatted down, grabbing a fistful of Summer’s hair. “You’ve been very disobedient. Mommy got out of prison, and you didn’t even come pick me up. hmm?”
Summer’s scalp burned with pain as she was forced to tilt her head back and look at the very face that had haunted her childhood nightmares.
“Let go of me! You’re not my mother.” She shouted at the top of her lungs, “Help‘ Is anyone there? Help!”
Yolanda burst into laughter. I am your mother. If you don’t behave, I’ll have to teach you a lesson. Why are you screaming for help?
With that, Yolanda pulled out a large box from her pocket, opened it, and revealed rows upon rows of long silver needles.
Summer’s pupils shrank in horror. She remembered. As a child, whenever she made Yolanda angry. Yolanda would stab her arms and legs with these needles.
The terrifying memories came rushing back all at once.
Summer struggled desperately; her voice sharp with panic. “Let go of me! You lunatic!”
