Chapter 279 Playing with Knives
Xavier sighed.
Of all people to mess with, why Summer?
Now Mr. Fraser’s ruthless side was completely unleashed.
Xavier placed a white porcelain plate filled with sharp fruit knives in front of Fraser.

Fraser gently pulled Summer closer, resting his chin on her shoulder. He picked up a knife and placed it into her hand, guiding her grip and aiming toward Philip, his eyes narrowing slightly.
“I’ll teach you how to throw knives.”
As soon as his voice fell, the knife flew like a dart.
It plunged sharply into Philip’s thigh, just inches from his groin.
“Ahhh!”
Philip screamed again, his entire body trembling uncontrollably. In an instant, a wet stain spread across his
pants.
Everyone watching shuddered internally.
Oh my God!
Mr. Fraser was calmly playing this dangerous game just to entertain a woman!
Their perception of Fraser’s arrogance, recklessness, and ruthlessness reached a whole new level.
Fraser continued guiding Summer’s hand, flinging knife after knife into Philip’s thighs, arms, and even inches beside his head.
Philip’s eyes rolled back, barely holding onto consciousness. His pants were soaked repeatedly, and eventually, he collapsed, unconscious.
It was Summer’s first time playing darts like this–let alone using a human target.
By the end, she casually muttered, “Not a single hit was accurate.”
Fraser glanced down at her, eyes darkening playfully. “Not satisfied?”
Without warning, Fraser placed his palm gently over Summer’s eyes.
A second later, another knife flashed coldly through the air-
It stabbed precisely into the upper part of Philip’s thigh, causing blood to gush out instantly.

Philip jolted awake, his screams echoing painfully throughout the room. His face twisted in unbearable agony.
Summer’s vision was still covered, hearing only that piercing scream.
When Fraser finally removed his hand, Summer saw what had happened.
Fraser raised an eyebrow, asking casually, “Feeling better now?”
The entire room anxiously turned their gaze to Summer, silently begging her to say yes.
Even if it wasn’t them getting stabbed, their nerves were completely shattered!
Summer slowly curled her lips into a faint smile. “Mm–hmm.”
Fraser calmly picked up a towel, meticulously wiping each of Summer’s fingers clean.
Taking her hand gently, ignoring the stares around them, Fraser turned to leave.
The crowd parted silently to let them through.
Only when they’d left did people start talking again, panicking as they scrambled to call an ambulance for Philip.
Xavier chuckled lightly. “No need for all that fuss. I’ll handle it. Just report it as an unfortunate accident–self–inflicted injuries.”
Everyone ws speechless.
Trevor, sitting silently in a dark corner, had watched everything unfold without saying a word.
Seeing Fraser walk out with Summer, he stood abruptly and hurried after them.
“Summer!”
Trevor’s voice rang out loudly.
Summer paused slightly upon hearing his voice, feeling Fraser’s grip tighten around her waist.
Trevor quickly caught up and blocked their path.
Fraser’s handsome face grew icy, his voice dripping with sarcasm. “What’s this? Want to try out the knife game, too?”
Trevor frowned deeply, ignoring Fraser. His dark gaze fixed solely on Summer.
‘Summer, can I talk to you?”
Before Summer could respond-

He turned back to Summer, his eyes full of emotion. He asked gently again, “Summer, please?”
Summer felt Fraser’s mood darken dangerously, the atmosphere around him growing cold as ice.
She finally looked at Trevor and spoke softly, “We have nothing left to talk about.”
Trevor’s breathing hitched, his face turning pale as he clenched his fists tightly at his sides.
Deep down, he already knew Summer didn’t love him anymore.
But his heart couldn’t accept it yet..
Seeing Fraser holding her was still painfully agonizing.
Hearing she’d been hurt still made his chest ache unbearably.
Even knowing he’d embarrass himself, he couldn’t stop himself from chasing after her.
Fraser showed no sympathy for Trevor, pulling Summer closer into his embrace, sneering mockingly.
“You heard her. Now get lost.”
