Chapter 316 Flirting with Fame
Summer froze for a moment when she saw Fraser appear. Why has he come, and why so conspicuously?
Lucas, sitting beside her, darkened his gaze subtly.
The audience below started buzzing.
“I didn’t expect to see Mr. Graham, the wealthiest man in Havenbrook, at an interview show. Impressive!”
“Mr. Graham is too handsome. Even a simple suit shows off his perfect physique!”
But why did Mr. Graham come? Did he just mention something about having feelings for Summer? Wow, this is turning into a real showdown.”
“Pity, Summer is already with Lucas and they have a child. Even Mr. Graham probably can’t win
her now.”
“If I were pregnant and Mr. Graham came for me, I’d choose him!”
Fraser strode up to the stage, bathed in the spotlight, and sat down nonchalantly on the couch. next to Summer, unlike Lucas, who kept a half–arm’s distance away on her right.
Fraser sat right beside her, draping his long arm casually over the back of the couch, his legs casually crossed.
From every angle, it looked as if he enveloped her in his embrace.
Fraser glanced at her, her lashes long and curled under the lights, her gaze lowered, lost in thought.
Leaning in, he whispered, “Why didn’t you tell me about today’s interview, hmm?”
Suddenly, his strong scent of pine enveloped her.
Summer’s face flushed. She wasn’t a celebrity; she wasn’t used to being so public.
Yet, Fraser behaved as intimately as if they were alone.
Summer bit her lip, “Today’s interview was to clear up some rumors from the press conference.”
That explained why Summer hadn’t told him, though she hadn’t expected the topic to shift like
this.
Oh?”
Fraser’s eyes darkened as he smirked, his voice low and suggestive, “So, it’s about clarification, not
neing ma?”

His presence was overwhelming, and Summer couldn’t help but edge away slightly, saying, “You’re here now.”
So blatantly.
Fraser chuckled, his tone playful yet ambiguous, “Seems like I still don’t have a place, alright, I guess I need to take initiative myself.”
What is he talking about?
Summer couldn’t help but roll her eyes at him as the audience watched their flirty exchange, suddenly realizing-
Are they openly flirting? What is going on?
Lucas‘ expression remained inscrutable, his loneliness palpable even through the screen.
Francis, slightly awkward, cleared his throat and continued the interview.
“Mr. Graham, good to see you. Are you here for Ms. Stewart today?”
Fraser lifted his eyelids, a slight smirk on his lips, “Otherwise, did you think I came for you?”
The audience fell silent, then burst into laughter. Mr. Graham knew how to imply.
Caught off guard, Francis‘ face tinged with embarrassment, but his years of experience helped him quickly regain composure.
“Mr. Graham, as the saying goes, knights joust for a damsel’s hand. And Ms. Stewart is certainly beautiful. You might not be aware, Mr. Graham, but Ms. Stewart is already spoken for; her boyfriend is a kind man who gives her a great sense of security.”
“Oh?”
Fraser raised an eyebrow, his deep gaze fixating on her, his voice sultry, “Your boyfriend is warm, and gives you a sense of security.”
With each word he spoke, Summer’s blush deepened, and by the end, her cheeks were nearly aflame.
How unprofessional this reporter was! To repeat everything she had just confided.
Summer closed her eyes briefly, “He’s making things up!”
Fraser’s gaze softened, then his lips curled into a smile, the amusement reaching his eyes.
Looking at Francis, he commanded, “Could you repeat that? I didn’t quite catch it.”
Francis‘ eyebrows twitched. Is my earlier statement that hard to understand?

“Ms. Stewart said her boyfriend is a man who gives her a great sense of security. Though he occasionally annoys her, he’s mostly very gentle to her.”
Summer remained silent. No need for such detail.
Fraser’s gaze deepened, nonchalantly adding, “So, that’s how I am in your heart.”
