Fraser, stone–faced, rejected each proposal one after another, despite each being incredibly
romantic.
No matter what, Fraser found something wrong with each of Xavier’s ideas, all the while giving him a look that seemed to imply he could do better.
By the end, Xavier started to doubt his own creativity
“There’s one last idea. In Frostland, while waiting for the aurora to appear, you could kneel on one knee, with a reindeer bringing the ring, and make your vows under the northern lights. Any woman would agree to that!”
Fraser narrowed his eyes, deep in thought.
“A reindeer could be swapped for Pudding. Pudding can’t go to Frostland, but changing the location could work.”
It seemed they finally had a workable proposal idea, and Xavier let out a sigh of relief.
“You could probably just casually mention to Summer in the Graham Mansion, ‘Marry me, and I bet she’d agree.”
Fraser’s eyes darkened, his voice tinged with bitterness, “I overheard her phone call; she’s planning to leave Havenbrook.”
He had heard her talking with Julia by the office door and had wanted to confront her directly.
But in the end, he didn’t have the courage. Ridiculous, as the CEO of the Graham Group, I was scared.
Afraid of hearing her confirm she wanted to leave Havenbrook. Later, he had tentatively asked Summer if she was hiding anything.
She said no. He couldn’t quite describe how he felt at that moment; Fraser felt a sting in his heart.
“What? Are you sure you heard right?”
Xavier looked at Fraser’s somber expression, “And you still want to propose?”
“Since she chose not to tell me, she must have her reasons. On the day I propose, I’ll transfer 20% of the Graham Group’s shares into her name.”
Xavier’s mouth dropped open in shock.
“Fraser! Are you serious? Are you insane? Do you realize what 20% of the shares mean? If Summer has any ulterior motives, those shares could be enough to bring you down.”
“I know.”

Xavier couldn’t help but try to knock some sense into this love–struck fool. Fraser’s eyes were intense, his voice earnest, I’ll go the extra mile for her. That’s what I want to give her.
From afar, a servant approached respectfully,
“Mr. Graham, Ms. Stewart has returned.”
Summer walked into the Graham Mansion and, hearing from the servants that Fraser was in the backyard with Pudding, headed straight there.
As she strolled down the long corridor, she didn’t expect to see Xavier there too.
Xavier greeted her with a smile, “Hey Summer, long time no see.”
Thinking about him being Yvette’s boyfriend,
Summer’s curious gaze lingered on him for a few seconds longer, “You’re here today too?”
“Yeah, just checking up on Pudding”
Speaking of Pudding, the thought of the old dog worried her.
“Pudding’s okay, right?”
“Don’t worry, it was just a routine check–up. Pudding is still lively, has a few good years left.
Summer nodded, “That’s good to hear.”
Meanwhile, Fraser, feeling neglected since Summer had been chatting with Xavier since she entered the garden, frowned and gave Xavier a cold look, his tone impatient, “Aren’t you leaving?
Xavier was stunned. Not even inviting me for dinner, and he’s rushing me out?
Observing Fraser’s dark mood,
Xavier internally scoffed at his friend’s fickleness. Well, gets a wife and forgets me…
Xavier awkwardly explained to Summer, “Summer, I’ve got some stuff to handle, I’ll take off now. See you around.”
After saying this, Xavier quickly made his exit.
Summer watched as Fraser lounged in his chair, leg propped up in a relaxed pose, yet his face was expressionless as he stared at his phone.
The backyard was bright and cheery like the sunny weather, yet a chill seemed to hang in the air.
Summer walked up to him, “Hey.”
Fraser didn’t resnond- the flickering light from his phone screen cast shadows on his sharnly

Having been with him for so long, Summer could tell he was in a sour mood.
She playfully tested the waters, “Ignoring me? Then I’ll just head back to my room.”
Seeing no reaction from him, Summer turned to leave…
But just as she did, her wrist was caught by Fraser’s firm grip from behind.
With a gentle pull, Summer found herself sitting on his muscular thigh.
Summer’s face heated up, “The servants are right here.”
The garden had four gates, each diligently guarded by two servants.
