deliberate grace and walked back into the conference room.
Mike’s desperate face instantly lit up. Mr. Graham isn’t leaving?
August’s heart pounded. What the hell? Why isn’t he going after that woman?
His fingers flew over the phone, “Status report!”
The answer came within seconds, “Target has not appeared. All teams are searching. No visual confirmation yet.”
August’s grip on his phone turned white, his veins bulging. Fuck! Where is she?
