Chapter 72 Be My Girlfriend
A man like Fraser had actually experienced his first time that day.

Logically speaking, every woman in Havenbrook would have jumped at the chance to share his bed. The idea that it had been his first time seemed inconceivable.
Summer’s voice was barely above a whisper. “But you were… incredible.”
It didn’t feel like the first time. If anything, he seemed like the type of seasoned player who thrived in the
game.
Fraser’s relaxed tone carried a trace of amusement. “Ever considered the possibility that I’ve always been a fast learner?”
The well–defined hand resting on Summer’s back suddenly exerted force, pulling her tightly against him.
He lowered his head, his cool lips ghosting over her flushed cheek before trailing toward her car. His voice was a sultry murmur. “But it’s such an honor to earn your praise. I’ll make sure to improve next time.”
His warm breath seared against her eardrum, sending heat surging through her veins.
And with Fraser shamelessly spouting such words in broad daylight, Summer’s face erupted in crimson.
A startled gasp slipped out. “Don’t say that… Just don’t.”
Fraser’s usual sharpness faded, his gaze turning liquid, impossibly gentle. He pressed a fingertip lightly against her trembling lips.
Toying with her, he whispered, “Keep it down, my office isn’t soundproof. If you want to make noise, next time we can find somewhere more private, where you can be as loud as you want.”
The president’s office isn’t soundproof? What is this? A paper–thin building?
Summer wasn’t buying it, but the thought of anyone overhearing made her wary. She instinctively kept her voice down.
Frustrated, she pounded a small fist against his chest.
The action was unintentionally coquettish, exactly the kind of thing a girlfriend would do when throwing a sulky tantrum.
Realizing it too late, she quickly withdrew her hand.
Seeing that Fraser didn’t seem to mind, she finally relaxed.
Fraser was impossible. Every time she was around him, he effortlessly pulled her into his rhythm.
Noticing the teasing glint in Fraser’s eyes, Summer figured this was her chance to get to the real reason she was here.
Cautiously, she broached the topic. “Can you transfer the remaining 500 million to Stewart Group?”

Maybe it was because they’d already shared a bed a few times, but this time, Summer understood exactly
what he meant.
What a shameless man.
She hesitated, but they’d already crossed that line. There was no point in pretending to be modest now. She was here for the money, after all.
Rising on tiptoe, she brushed the lightest of kisses against his lips.
Her ears burned. “Is that enough?”
Fraser’s voice, deep and magnetic, held a teasing warmth.
“Summer, one kiss for 500 million? What a bargain. How about I kiss you, and you pay me 500 million instead?”
Summer scowled. He was playing with her. Irritated, she shoved him away. “Forget it.”
“You’re giving up that easily?” Fraser’s lips quirked.
Her temper flared. She pressed her lips into a thin line. “If I don’t give up, am I just supposed to stand here and let you keep teasing me?”
“Ms. Stewart, that’s no way to ask for a favor.”
She met his gaze. “Mr. Graham, you’re obviously toying with me. You promised Stewart Group a billion, but after transferring half, you stopped. You’re forcing me to come to you.”
Fraser showed no irritation. His voice was casual, light, laced with amusement. “Sharp thinking today.”
Summer met his gaze head–on. “What’s your real reason for doing this?”
Fraser’s dark eyes locked onto hers, an unreadable intensity simmering beneath. “What do you think?”
Maybe it was the weight of his gaze–too scorching, too direct–but Summer’s heart stuttered. She turned her head away, feigning indifference. “I’m not a mind reader. How should I know what you’re thinking?”
Fraser studied her, silent.
He had been waiting for her to come to him on her own. He had wanted to give her time.
But then he saw that wedding dress photo, the possibility of her forgiving Trevor, of becoming his bride, had driven him to madness.
The idea that this time might be false–but the next time could be real–was unbearable.
Fraser realized he could no longer wait.
If she wouldn’t come to him willingly, then he would simply keep her by his side, until she had no choice but to fall for him.
His gaze darkened. His voice was low certain “Summer I want you to be mv øirlfriend”

Her lashes quivered. Her fingers twitched at her sides.
She wasn’t sure what she felt.
But deep inside, something in her heart shuddered.
