The next morning, Alice came to the company, her eyes bloodshot, waving a paper cutter in the air.
When she saw me, she rushed towards me, and of course, I was caught off guard.
She grabbed my collar with her left hand, holding the knife in her right hand, her hair a mess, looking like a ghost, and shouted, “Nill wants a divorce and says he wants to marry you. I’m going to kill both of you!”
As she spoke, the knife was about to come down when a pale hand suddenly grabbed the blade.
Blood started to drip down from the hand. I turned around, and it was Bran.
