I smiled gracefully. “Sir, I think you’ve mistaken me. My name is Carmel, and Ms. Regina Coleman, the chairwoman of the Coleman Group, is my mother! If you need a further introduction to my mother, she’s certainly not been wasting her years in the business world? And by the way, you’re hurting me–let go!”
I spoke the last words sharply.
His expression flickered for a moment, and he slowly released my wrist.
“I’m sorry, I mistook you. Your tone and expression are completely different from hers… but it’s incredible how much you look alike!” he said.

Gavin came to his senses and sized me up from head to toe. “Did you say your name is Carmel? The founder of OneHeart Products? The legendary figure who made a billion in revenue in just three months?”
“That’s just some honors the media kindly bestowed upon me,” I said, extending my hand and casually brushing a strand of hair behind my ear, creating an elegant arc with my arm. “Nothing compared to Mr. Chambers, who took on an entire business empire at such a young age and is famous far and wide!”
I could feel his heart flutter as my gaze lingered on him.
His eyes grew intense, as if they wanted to burn me alive.
