After the incident, Jenna’s reputation was completely ruined. Coupled with the fact that she was a child born out of wedlock, no one from high society would want to marry a woman like her.
Hence, Jenna had no choice but to grab onto the only option she had left, the Garvin family.
She paid the owners of several major social media accounts to circulate the news of her being pregnant with Bradley’s child. They shared intimate photos of the pair and a photo of their marriage certificate. All those things proved Jenna’s status as Bradley’s wife.
The Garvins punished Bradley harshly after learning the news. He was caned dozens of times, leaving bloody, open gashes on his skin.
The Garvins issued an official apology, saying how they had done a poor job at disciplining a family member and how they would be willing to compensate the Sanderson family. Yet, they did not acknowledge Jenna as a family member.
After what Jenna did, the Sanderson family’s company’s stock prices plummeted. The Sandersons even ended up becoming an object of ridicule in Jalenos.
To save his reputation, my father kicked Jenna out of the house and told her never to return. As for Jenna’s mother, she could not give up on the lavish lifestyle that came with being a member of the Sanderson family. She announced in front of countless reporters that she was cutting ties with Jenna.
Jenna soon went into hiding and disappeared from the public’s sight because of all the hate and scorn directed at her.
Terrence was worried about how these incidents might affect my mood. He cleared his schedule for an entire month and took me on a trip to visit different parts of the
world.
Whenever I started staring into space, he would hug me tightly and kiss me on the forehead.
“Don’t be sad. I’ll always be with you.”
Terrence invited me to dinner the night before our wedding was held.
As soon as I stepped through the door, I could see flower petals scattered on the marble floor. The flickering candlelight fell on Terrence’s lean, tall figure.

He held a bouquet of flowers and stood in the center of the room. Terrence got down on one knee.
“Julia, will you marry me?”
Our family and friends clapped their hands as they came out of the spots where they were hiding. Some of them held our wedding photos up in the air and gave us their blessings.
Tears brimmed over and rolled down my cheeks. I nodded firmly.
“Yes.”
I put my hand out. I could feel the cold ring brush against my finger.
Terrence and I shared a kiss in a tight embrace. Fireworks erupted in the sky. Several words were formed in the air.
“Julia, I love you.”
I was really moved as I gazed at Terrence. Our faces were reflected in each other’s eyes. I felt extremely happy at that moment.
