Chapter 25
Taliyah’s POV
+8 Pearls
Eamon introduces their Parents to me, their names are Barin and Aurora. Their Mother has a great sense of humor and their Father dotes on his Mate.
Ward warns them of my dislike of being called Princess or Your Highness and that they are only allowed to refer to my title in company of others. I remember that Malachay called me Princess, but it was clear to me that he used it as a nickname for me and I couldn’t get mad at him.
Camden clears his throat and we all look at him and it takes me a split second to realize what he is going to say. “Camden, I will tell them myself, if you don’t mind.” He nods his head and walks back to the wall he had been leaning against.
“After I woke up and got ready to come downstairs, I decide to see if I could sneak up on the guys. Back home I would sneak around, making sure I wouldn’t run in to certain people.
A few seconds before I reached them, Camden noticed me and he kept quiet so I could scare the shit out of Amand and Kaelan.” Camden is already laughing and I hear a few more chuckle.
“I unbalanced Amand so much that he fell to the floor.” I say hiccupping with laughter.
However my Grandparents are not laughing and it is then that Amand’s words sink in. My Mother was able to run off, because she knew how to sneak around her Guards.
“Grandfather, I promise that I will never sneak off. If I ever disappear, I want you to know that I did not leave willingly. I know that Mother regretted leaving without a word.” I am on my knees in front of him, making him see that I am serious.
“Taliyah, I was always so proud of your Mother. So proud of her abilities and in the end it was because of those abilities that we lost her. Promise me that you will always tell someone where you are going even if you need some time by yourself.” I nod my head and tell him that I will do as he requests.
Prince Dante’s P.O.V.
Hearing her promise I start breathing a little easier and I know that Taliyah will do what she promised me.
I hug her and kiss her forehead before I release her, my Mate pulls her in to her arms and whispers in her ear that she loves her. I know that it will be tough for a while, but having Taliyah with us will help a lot.
She will be the center of our world from now on, she is the rightful Queen and I know that Ward is right, she might not like it when she finds out.
For the time being we will let her get adjusted to living as a Royal and I hope she is a decent student, because she will have a lot to learn. Thinking of my own studies, I frown because I remember all the stories I had to listen to.
Council–member Armas will make an excellent tutor for her and I link Alaric to get his opinion on my thoughts. Alaric agrees with me and promises to reach out to the Council with our request.
Eamon’s P.O.V.
Our Mother tells Taliyah about the promise I made to her Mother ages ago and I smile because I will keep my promise at all
costs.
Finding our Mate is something we have wanted ever since the day we became of age. I nearly gave up a few times, once I even came close to losing my life because of it and every time it was Malachay that made me realize that I would only be truly happy with my Mate.
The moment I smelled that lovely scent of Tuberose, I knew I had found my forever. Malachay had been right, the way I feel when I am near her is the best feeling ever. If it were possible I would never let her out of my arms again, but that will make working a little difficult.
Being part of triplets has it’s pro’s and con’s and right now I don’t know which it is as I hear Malachay ask me what is so amusing. I tell him and Ward what I was thinking about and soon the three of us are laughing out loud.

Our Mate is staring at us and Mother says “Sweetheart, you might need a hammer in this case. They do that a lot and when you ask them about it, they won’t answer.”
Taliyah looks at us with a questioning look in her eyes and as I shake my head, I realize I made a huge mistake.
She looks at her Grandfather and asks if he can show her around the palace. Her Grandmother and our Mother are staring daggers at me and Alaric looks as if he can actually kill me.
By the time my Brothers and I get to our senses, she has already left the room. The only thing that comforts me is knowing that her protection detail is with her and I know that she will be safe.
“Have you lost your fucking mind, Eamon? Do you really want to lose your Mate by keeping things from her?” Anayah is yelling in my face and in all the years that I have known her I have never seen her this angry.
“The two of you are no better. I hope she makes you suffer.” Anayah growls at my Brothers and I see Malachay pale at her words.
Alaric pulls his Mate in to his arms to calm her down, but her words struck a nerve in me and my Brothers. Anayah is right, keeping things from your Mate is never a good thing and eventually it will bite you in the ass.
If it were physically possible, I would kick my own ass right now. I know that I messed up, I just hope I get a chance to make it right with Taliyah. I hate the fact that I hurt her, even though I never intended to do so.
“The second she comes back, I am going to tell her and apologize. I hate that she is mad at me, I just didn’t know how to explain it to her.” I say to Ward and Malachay through the mind–link.
“I don’t think I have ever seen Anayah that angry with anyone. Fuck, I pity the fool that ever sends her of the deep end.” Ward responds and I chuckle out loud.
“What is so funny, Eamon?” Anayah asks and I decide to tell her. Alaric chuckles and Princess Maleah agrees with me “Yeah, that is a shitshow I wouldn’t want to miss.”
