CHAPTER NINETY–SIX – When the World Spins
Ryan retaliated by lifting her slightly, pressing her more firmly against the wall. The tile was slick against her back, but Laura barely noticed, too caught up in the feeling of Ryan’s body against hers. He slid a thigh between her legs, and she ground down on it instinctively, seeking friction.
“Patience,” Ryan murmured against her

But Laura didn’t want patience. She wanted him, now, with an urgency that surprised even her. “Ryan, please,” she whimpered, her nails digging into his shoulders.
He seemed to understand her desperation, because he reached down between them, his fingers finding her most sensitive spot. Laura casped at the contact, her head falling back against the tile with a soft thud. Ryan took advantage of her exposed neck, peppering it with kisses and gentle nips as his fingers worked their magic.
Laura was lost in a haze of pleasure, the warm water adding to the sensations overwhelming her. She clung to Ryan, her hips moving in rhythm with his hand. When he slid a finger inside her, she bit her lip to stifle a loud moan.
“Don’t hold back,” Ryan whispered in her ear. “I want to hear you.”
His words broke something loose in Laura. She let out a keening cry as he added another finger, stretching her deliciously. Her legs trembled, and she was grateful for Ryan’s strong arm around her waist, holding her up.

“Are you sure?” he asked again, his voice strained with the effort of holding back.
Laura answered by wrapping her legs around his waist, pulling him closer. “Yes,” she breathed. “God, yes,”
With a groan, Ryan pushed into her, slowly at first, giving her time to adjust. Laura’s breath caught at the feeling of fullness, her inner muscles clenching around him. When he was fully sheathed inside her, they both paused, foreheads pressed together, sharing the
same air.
“You feel incredible,” Ryan murmured, his lips brushing against hers with each word.
Laura could only nod in agreement, too overwhelmed for words. She rocked her hips experimentally, drawing a hiss from Ryan. Taking that as encouragement, she did it again, setting a slow, torturous rhythm.
Ryan’s hands gripped her hips, guiding her movements as he began to thrust. The shower continued to rain down on them, adding a slick, sensual layer to their lovemaking. Water droplets clung to Ryan’s eyelashes, and Laura found herself mesmerized by the sight.
Their pace increased gradually, the tension building between them with each thrust. Laura’s nails raked down Ryan’s back, leaving faint red marks in their wake. In retaliation, he nipped at her collarbone, soothing the sting with his tongue immediately after.
The bathroom filled with the sounds of their passion – skin sliding against skin, breathless moans, and whispered endearments. Laura felt like she was drowning in sensation, each thrust bringing her closer to the edge of ecstasy.
“Ryan,” she gasped, feeling the familiar tightening in her lower belly, “I’m close.”
He nodded, his movements becoming more urgent. “Me too,” he grunted, reaching between them to circle her most sensitive spot with
his thumb.
That extra stimulation was all Laura needed. She came with a cry of Ryan’s name, her inner muscles clenching around him
rhythmically. The intensity of her orgasm took her by surprise, waves of pleasure washing over her as Ryan continued to move within
her.
It only took a few more thrusts before Ryan followed her over the edge. He buried his face in her neck, muffling his groan of release against her skin. Laura held him tightly as he shuddered against her, their bodies still joined intimately.
For several long moments, they stayed like that, the warm water washing over them as they caught their breath. Ryan slowly lowered Laura’s legs back to the ground, but he kept her pressed against the wall, his body a solid, comforting weight against hers.
“That was…” Laura trailed off, unable to find the right words to describe what had just happened between them.
“Amazing,” Ryan finished for her, lifting his head to meet her gaze. Ils eyes were soft, filled with an emotion that made Laura’s heart skip a beat.
She nodded, a smile tugging at her lips. “Yeah, amazing.”

Laura melted into it, her hands coming up to cup his face.
When they finally parted, Ryan reached behind him to turn off the now–cooling water. They stood there for a moment, dripping and slightly chilled, but neither wanting to break the intimate bubble they’d created.
“We should probably get out before we turn into prunes,” Ryan said with a chuckle, reaching for a towel.
Laura laughed, the sound light and carefree. “Probably,” she agreed, accepting the towel he handed her.
They dried off in comfortable silence, stealing glances and shy smiles. As Laura wrapped the towel around herself, she felt a moment of uncertainty. What did this mean for them? Was it just a one–time thing, or the start of something more?
Ryan seemed to sense the shift in her mood, his gaze darkening as he took a step towards her.
“You know,” he said, his voice low and husky, “I’m not sure I’m quite done with you yet.”
Laura’s breath caught in her throat. “Oh?” she managed, her heart racing.
Ryan closed the distance between them, his hands coming to rest on her hips. “Not even close,” he murmured, before capturing her lips in a searing kiss.
The towel fell forgotten to the floor as Laura wound her arms around Ryan’s neck, pressing herself against him. This kiss was different from their earlier ones – less desperate, but no less intense. It was a slow burn, stoking the embers of their passion back into a roaring flame.
Without breaking the kiss, Ryan began to walk them backwards towards the bed. When Laura felt the edge hit the back of her knees, she allowed herself to fall onto the soft mattress, pulling Ryan down with her. He braced himself above her, his eyes roaming her body with undisguised appreciation.
“God, you’re beautiful,” he breathed, leaning down to trail kisses along her jawline.
Laura arched into him, her hands exploring the planes of his back. “So are you,” she whispered, her fingers tracing the defined muscles of his shoulders.
Ryan’s lips found that sensitive spot just below her ear, and Laura couldn’t hold back a soft moan. Encouraged by her response, he continued his exploration, kissing and nipping his way down her neck to her collarbone.
