Chapter 6
A month later, a lavish party was held in the ballroom of a high–end hotel.
Nelson and Olivia stood on stage. Olivia wore a cocktail dress, proudly cradling her one–month–old son.
The baby, noticeably smaller than most his age, rested in her arms. But Olivia seemed eager to show him off.
Wearing sunglasses, I sat in an inconspicuous corner, quietly waiting for the drama to unfold.
The murmurs of the guests reached my ears.
“Wasn’t Nelson’s wife a doctor? She doesn’t look like this woman…”
“Yeah, his ex–wife’s name was Anstey. She had such an elegant air about her. This one doesn’t seem… refined.”
“Ex–wife? When did they divorce?”
“You didn’t hear? They split after Nelson took his mistress to have a baby. His wife found out, and things got ugly.”
“It wasn’t just ugly. Nelson and his mother physically attacked his wife, and she ended up losing her baby.”
“What? They were the ones in the wrong, and they still had the nerve to hit her?”
“I saw the video online. Let me find it…”
The chaos in the hospital from last month had been uploaded to the internet. Nelson and Rosina were mercilessly condemned, becoming
targets of widespread public outrage.
Nelson spent a fortune trying to suppress the incident, even threatening to sue those who shared the video. As a result, not many people knew the full story.
While Nelson and I were still fighting over the division of assets, he had shamelessly brought Olivia and their illegitimate child into the
spotlight.
But I had meticulously planned tonight’s revenge. I was waiting for the moment when his reputation would be destroyed.
On stage, the LED screen played cheerful children’s songs. Guests lined up to take photos with Olivia.
A woman dressed similarly to Olivia was posing for pictures with her, clearly close.
Suddenly, the music stopped. The screen switched to a surveillance video.
Curious eyes turned to watch, including Nelson and Olivia.
The footage revealed a living room. A man and a woman were tangled together on a couch. Though their lower halves were blurred, it was clear they were having sex.
It didn’t take long for everyone to recognize Nelson and Olivia.
In the video, Nelson’s voice was clear.

“Am I better than Edmund?”
Olivia giggled and replied coyly, “Of course you are… But let me ask you, am I prettier than your wife?”
Nelson laughed, “She doesn’t even compare to you. She’s like a block of wood. She’s so boring!”
Gasps erupted throughout the room.
Nelson and Olivia’s faces turned pale. Rosina charged toward the staff, shouting, “Turn it off! What are you doing? Turn it off right now!”
The screen briefly went dark. But just as Nelson began to relax, the video resumed.
This time, Olivia sat alone in the living room, speaking on her phone.
“He’s filthy rich, a manager at a listed company. Anything I want, he buys for me. He’s so obedient, like a trained puppy.”
A voice on the other end asked, “Isn’t he your husband’s cousin? And I remembered he has a wife, right?”
Olivia laughed, “So what? His wife’s always busy with work and never has time for him. And you know what’s funny? He always asks me if he’s better than my husband. Honestly, he’s way smaller than Edmund and barely lasts a minute. I think he’s got some kind of issue! His wife’s a doctor. I couldn’t understand why she didn’t fix him.”
