Chapter 13 Three Conditions.
An hour later, Nathan descended the stairs. His suit was slightly disheveled from tending to Marcus, yet he still managed to look elegantly handsome.
He coolly stated, “From now on, come over every day to take care of Marcus.
Rebecca knew that children with autism needed consistency, and as a mother who had never fulfilled her duties, she could not back down now.
She agreed without hesitation, “Okay, I will cooperate
Just like that? Not even asking about compensation? Clearly, her intentions weren’t pure. Nathan’s handsome face darkened, but with Marcus needing her, he had no other choice.
“Don’t agree so lightly; I have conditions,” he said.
“First, you are here solely for Marcus’s condition. You must always be aware of your status and clarify it to avoid unnecessary misunderstandings. He referred to the misunderstandings from the previous night and today.
But wasn’t it their fault for not giving me a chance to explain? Rebecca pondered.
“Second, the moment Marcus’s condition improves, you must leave immediately. If you dare to scheme against him or exploit him, I will make you regret ever being born.”
Rebecca was stunned. Did he think I have ulterior motives?
She wanted to teach him a lesson about being a narcissistic person.
The third condition, and the most important, Nathan stood, his stature creating an imposing presence.
He stepped toward Rebecca, stopping just a step away, and haughtily presented a black card,
“As Marcus’s personal assistant, I don’t want you flirting with men or acting improperly, affecting Marcus. If you need money, use the card.”
His voice was cold and commanding. The black card symbolized supreme prestige.
Rebecca was shocked. Which of his eyes saw me flirting? Only men like him indulged excessively in pleasures!

Married man‘ Second–hand! Poker face! This was the first time someone had described the perfect Nathan with such terms! Wait, what does the mean by his kind? Recklest That’s insulting!
Caleb, from the corner, felt slighted.
Nathan hadn’t expected Rebecca to be so sharp–tongued His eyes narrowed dangerously, like a sharp knife, “You better do you say, otherwise.”
He left the threat hanging, but the dire implications were clear. It wasn’t death, but it might as well be

“I will,” she asserted confidently, turning and striding away with her head held hig

The last statement was definitive because Jocelyn was tender and adoring towards Nathan, which Rebecca clearly was not.
Nathan’s face was shrouded in gravity as he replied, “Rebecca, Jocelyn’s twin sister.”
Oh my!
“Twins, they look exactly alike! Indistinguishable.”
“And Nathan, to think he’s getting close to her and even speaking, how strange!”
Nathan was surprised too but not entirely shocked, “Jocelyn is busy with work, and Marcus probably mistook her for his
mother.
His tone was cool, convinced that Rebecca was deliberately using her resemblance to get close, considering the coincidences of both last night and tonight.
Caleb stroked his chin, frowning. Is that the case? It seemed there was no other explanation
