Chapter 32 Don’t Call Me That
Rebecca’s thin frame jerked violently. Her eyes flew open, staring at the man in front of her in disbelief.
He–he actually kissed her
His lips were burning hot.
His breath kept pouring in through her nose.
She tried to tell herself it was a hallucination, but everything felt too real. Her brain short–circuited
How could he…
Nathan didn’t go further. He bit her lip, then pulled away and stared at her flushed mouth.
“If you call me that again, I won’t mind biting until it bleeds.”
Then he turned and walked off in long strides.
Rebecca stood frozen, like she’d turned to stone.
For five whole minutes, she could still feel his breath and the warmth left on her lips. She couldn’t process that he had kissed her
No–bitten her. What kind of punishment was that? He was insane.
Bastard
Nathan left the room, but his mind was just as restless. He yanked off his tie, rubbed at his temples in frustration.
Damn it. Why had he hated hearing her say that so much? Why had he kissed her without thinking?
And worst of all, he hadn’t even hated it.
In the hallway, Mike had been on his way upstairs to report Greg’s escape when he saw Nathan walking out of the medical room with a deep scowl. He frowned. What happened to Nathan?
Before he could figure it out, Rebecca came hurrying out in a panic and rushed back to her room.
Holy hell. What had just happened in there? And was that a kiss mark on her lips? Nathan had kissed a woman who’d already been violated
That was insane.
That night, a fine drizzle began to fall–thin strands landing silently, as if to wash away the traces left behind yesterday.
Rebecca didn’t sleep well.
years ago. No m
Her dreams were filled with scenes from that night four how she struggled, she couldn’t escape his grip.
The dream shifted to the delivery room–bloody sheets, searing pain, the child being taken away, the agony of forced
¿? She jolted awake, covered in cold sweat. She looked at the quiet room and the rain outside the window, running a hand through her hair.
Thank god it was just a dream. Thats all in the past. Now I have a peaceful life, a sweet, obedient Emma. Once I make it up to my little boy, I’ll go back and work harder to live well with Emma

Rebecca looked down at the screen Astring of unfamiliar numbers. She frowned, hesitated for a
“Hello! Who’s this?
Hi. I’m a delivery guy. Your daughter Emma and Natasha asked me to drop something of Said it’s important and that you have to sign for it in person.
A delivery Something important?
Emma and Natasha didn’t mention anything
“It’s raining miss. I didn’t bring an umbrella. Please hurry the delivery man said, growing impatient.
Rebecca gave a short “oh hung up, got up quickly, threw on a light jacket, and ran outside.
It was 7:30 in the morning. People were heading to work, taking kids to school. The streets were dotted with small groups of people creating a peaceful morning atmosphere.
Rebecca spotted someone in a blue courier uniform and hat standing by the road. She walked over quickly.
“Hi, I’m here to pick up a–ah
Before she could finish, a cold fruit knife was pressed to her neck.
The shout was so loud that nearby pedestrians all turned to look. They saw a heavyset man holding a young woman hostage
“Call the police!”
“Get security”
“Don’t move! Let her go!”
The man sneered. Under the brim of his cap, his fat face twisted with rage.
“Rebecca, imagine that–you actually ended up in my hands. You ruined my company, destroyed my life. Did you really think I’d let you off easy?”
That voice—that tone–it was Greg.
Wasn’t he already taken care of? How was he here!
Rebecca was shocked. But there was no time to think about that now. She’d known Emma and Natasha would never send something like thus, so she’d brought a stun baton with her and was already reaching for it.
Greg suddenly snapped. “I’m going to destroy your whole life!”
“Come on, everyone–take a good look! This so–called sweet girl–see what she’s really like! Rebecca, you’ve never seen how disgusting you look when you’re letting loose, right? Take a good look before you die!
He dragged her around, opened up a large tablet he’d already set up, and tapped the screen
An obscene video started playing.
And the woman in the video–was Rebecca
The crowd was stunned
‘She’s really that kind of woman!”
“Wow, totally fooled me
“Who is she? How did she even get into the villa?”
Chapter 32 Don’t Call Me That
The way everyone looked at Rebecca instantly changed. From curious to contemptuous.
She was beautiful–young, naturally pretty even without makeup. The kind of girl men would fall for. A total temptress.
But Rebecca didn’t react to the stares or Greg’s vile words. Her eyes were fixed on the screen, stunned and speechless
That wasn’t her
She’d never done anything with Greg How could a video like that even exist?
But the footage was fluid, vivid, lifelike. Not a trace of editing. She recalled his words: “Still haven’t learned after all this time. huh? It’s okay…. I want to see you… again, you enjoy it every time, don’t you?”
Every word made it clear he’d drugged someone, tormented them. And the girl looked exactly like her.
Could it be… Jocelyn
Rebecca was horrified by the thought. She didn’t want to believe it. Couldn’t
Greg yanked her face toward the screen. What now? Still think you can live after this? Feel what it’s like to be ruined. That’s how I felt yesterday. Helpless. Afraid. No–worse. I lost everything. I’m about to be crippled. You did this. I’ll never let you go
Corne die with me!”
Greg had never planned on surviving. If he lived, he’d be finished–thrown into a war camp. Better to die. Today was about destroying Rebecca and dragging her down with him
A beautiful woman on the path to hell–at least he’d have company.
He raised the knife and drove it toward her.
Rebecca didn’t move.
Her face was still pressed close to the screen. At that distance, she saw the woman’s waist clearly
There was a birthmark there–identical to her sisters.
It really is her!
Her heart thudded
The blade was just about to fall–when a tall figure appeared out of nowhere and yanked her aside-
