Chapter 50 Spending the Night at Her Place
Rebecca’s eyes flew wide open in shock. “You’re not seriously joking, right?”
Nathan gave a cold hum, one eyebrow raised. “Do I look like I’m joking?”
No. He didn’t
He was always a man of his word–unyielding and exacting.
But joke or not, this was not okay.
“This is Natasha’s place. Your identity makes it… inappropriate. Just eat your noodles and head home. I’ll make you a proper dinner another day. And if it’s because Marcus fell asleep, he can stay. I’ll take him over in the morning?”
She spoke seriously, cutting off every possible excuse in advance.
than’s gaze darkened. Any other woman would be thrilled to hear I was staying the night. But her? She shot him down flat without blinking. It pissed him off.
Only he walks away. No one sends him off
His voice went cold. “You can keep your dinner offer. For now, shut up. I’m sleeping in the bed with the kids. You can find somewhere else.”
Commanding. Direct. No room for negotiation.
Rebecca was speechless.
What the hell? Is this my place or his? And why does he get to steal my bed!
She opened her mouth to argue–but Nathan was already finishing his noodles. In a flash, he stood, walked into the bedroom, and shut the door behind him.
That was it. As if his word was final.
Rebecca slammed her hand on the table in frustration. This guy… seriously, does he have no shame!
Meanwhile, at the Sena villa.
Jocelyn lay on the bed, freshly showered, wearing a sexy silk slip dress. Her long hair flowed like seaweed, her beauty breathtaking
Greg had left many marks on her, so she hadn’t dared get close to Nathan. But now that they’d faded, it was time to earn his favor, inch closer, and finally become his legitimate wife. Otherwise, who knew what tricks that slut Rebecca might try?
She glanced at the window, then at her phone. It was already II p–and Nathan still hadn’t come home.
She picked up her phone and dialed.
“Hello? Nathan Still working late?”
“No. Not coming back tonight. Get some rest, came the cold reply. And before she could ask anything more, he hung up.
Same cold treatment Always
Jocelyn’s expression twisted.
She’d waited up for him, and he wasn’t even coming back! And all the current projects he was working on were in

Finished
She’d done this kind of thing often–worried about gold diggers trying to get close to Nathan. The assistant was used to it
Less than ten minutes later, the report was set via WhatsApp.
Jocelyn opened it–and her already sour expression darkened further
The location showed a single apartment unit. Registered under Natasha And Rebecca was currently living there
So Nathan was spending the night with Rebecca
How could they spend the night together!
Jealousy. Hatred Rage.
Five seconds later, she took out her phone again and made a new call…
Just past seven. Nathan’s phone rang. He saw the number–it was from the Duncantow estate. His eyes narrowed, and he answered.
“Nathan, your grandmother isn’t feeling well today. She says she wants to see you, Marcus, and Ms. Rebecca. She also has something important to tell you. Video call at ten” the old butler said respectfully.
Nathan frowned
The old lady was in her nineties–his most respected and treasured elder. She’d even arranged his engagement to Jocelyn. And now she wasn’t feeling wells
He responded quickly. “Got it. Have Mr. Cramer take care of her. I’ll be there on time.”
Yes, Nathan
After hanging up, Nathan looked down and saw two little kids awake beside him. Two pairs of bright, dark eyes were staring straight at him.
Enma beamed “Future Daddy you actually slept next to me! I’m so happy
Marcus frowned “Daddy don’t you have OCD
Nathan had many quirks. One of them he wouldn’t sleep on a bed someone else had used. Once, in the middle of winter, his car broke down and he had to crash at someone’s place–he ended up sleeping sitting up, using his suit as padding. And now here he was, sleeping in Rebecca’s bed–like it was nothing
Even Nathan himself had no explanation for it. He got up “Time to head home. My grandma’s waiting for our call
Marcus liked the old lady too. He nodded. “Okay”
By the time they were all washed and ready, Rebecca had finished making a hearty breakfast
When Nathan stepped out, her expression was icy cold.
man
This is a whole–an CEO There’s a five–star hotel just outside the complex And he insists on crashing here?
Good thing Natasha hadn’t come home last night. Who knew what teasing that would’ve caused
She’d made this huge breakfast purely to thank him for yesterday–and as a way to end things. Make it clear there’s no need to
Mominy, are you in a bad mood: Why does your face look so mean?” Emuna’s voice rang out
“Mi Rebecca, are you mad
ddy and I stayed over!”

dad i don’t want here….
As she said this, she glanced at Nathan.
Nathan understood the implication clearly. He let out a cold snort and ignored her, taking a seat at the table.
Finished
Enuna ran över and plopped down beside him. Future Daddy! My mommy’s cooking is amazing. She’s got pretty skin. long legs, a great figure, and the best personality ever. Try some!”
Nathan raised an eyebrow. “Are you sure you’re talking about your mommy?
that the hell was that supposed to mean! Was he implying her cooking sucked, her skin wasn’t pretty, her figure was trash, and her personality was worse?
Rebecca scowled. “What I’m like is none of your business.”
She sat down and started eating without another word.
Nathan glanced at her stormy little posture and gave a soft laugh. He turned to Emma. “See that? Your mommy has the worst lemper of any woman I’ve ever met.
Cough cough.
Horst Fier temper’s ten thousand times better than Jocelyn’s, who slaps people out of nowhere, you blind bastard.
Rebecca couldn’t be bothered. She pulled Emma close and told her firmly to eat and not talk.
Emma pouted. Future Daddy’s so handsome and nice–wasn’t I just trying to help sell him on Mommy? How was that wrong?
She stayed quiet and obedient,
After breakfast, Rebecca quickly sent Emma to preschool and returned to Sena International with Nathan.
She hoped he would finally go to work and not come back all day.
instead…after bathing with Marcus, he stayed put. No intention of leaving.
What the hell? Isn’t he going to work today?
“Rebecca” A sharp, cold voice rang out, snapping her from her thoughts.
She looked up–and there was Jocelyn, descending the stairs with a face full of hatred.
Most importantly
She was holding something very, very important in her hands
