When Sophie heard that I was going to give her a gift, her eyes were filled with vigilance.
She was aware of how much I hated her, so why would I have prepared a gift for her?
However, before she could refuse, a man with short hair walked out from the surrounding crowd – who gathered to watch the show — and walked closer to Sohpie.

When she saw that person, Sophie gasped in shock. She stumbled back in horror and couldn’t help but whimper the other person’s name, “Dickson?!”
Dickson let out smoke from his mouth, and his eyes wandered wildly on Sophie’s face, “Hello there, dearest ex–girlfriend, long time no see. It seems like you are doing well. How is your promise of marrying me after taking the Jonnes‘ family wealth coming along?”
My parents looked at Sophie with wide eyes.
Sophie shook her head and explained, “Mom and dad, please don’t believe him. He… He was one of the gang members back then!”
After she finished speaking, she looked at me angrily, “Did you do this? Did you find this rapist? Why? I’ve had such a miserable life, why are you provoking me?!”
After saying that, she dropped to the ground and started wailing.
Mark helped her up, looked at me disappointedly and said, “Why are you so vicious?”
My dad said, “You’re crazy! Crazy!!”
I looked at Sophie expressionlessly and said, “Are you still slandering me?”
Dickson interjected, “Whether it is slander or not, we will all know when we get to the police station.”
A police siren sounded in the distance.
