I walk down the hall and to my own rooms. What a shit show of a night. Della really needs to understand her place. I thought we had an understanding of the meaning of our friendship with benefits and that feelings were checked at the door. In fact, she brought up the no strings attached idea to me. Now, it is apparent that she needs a reminder, unless I am completely reading the situation wrong. This is a pack wide mind–link, I want no shifters at all going up to my floor without clearance from me and I specifically order no shifter at all go to the guest rooms unless I specifically ask. Any guest may use the rooms available with proper clearance first, but nobody is to go to the rooms adjoining mine without permission. That is all. I close the mind link and start undressing in my bedroom. She just needed reminded that I am her alpha and I specifically told her to stay away from Ayla. Walking over to my closet. I tilt my head slightly to the right, hearing the faintest, quiet moan. Confused I walk over to the wall adjoining our rooms and place my ear close. Listening for a while, I am about to turn away when I hear another one. Is my little wolf moaning? If she is, then that answers my question on selective vs nonselective mutism and judging by the sound of that last moan and the water I am hearing, I conclude that she is in fact selectively mute. What could have little wolf moaning. I inhale and I can faintly smell her lavender sent, soap and at last her arousal. So, my little wolf became aroused after our hug. Not my little wolf and clearly the kiss I stupidly placed on top of her head instead of the hug. Why I did it? I am not sure, as the alpha I need to be careful I don’t cross any boundaries. Ayla is still recovering, and traumatized. I have to be careful to respect her and I don’t want to do anything to lead her on or take advantage of her trauma in anyway. Even by accident.
