“He called Xylia his ex–wife? So they’re divorced? Then how did she even get in here?”
“She must have found a way in. Honestly, with her current standing, even working as a maid for the Castros would be a privilege for her.”
Some people eyed Xylia with disdain, while others gazed at Jayden with admiration.
Jayden strode up to her, his expression dark.
“Who let you in here? Leave. Just because you have Yrian doesn’t mean you can act however you want in Brighton.
“And you think you can compare yourself to Ms. Foster You’re not even in the same league.”
Whispers and mocking laughter spread through the crowd as they waited for Xylia to leave in humiliation.
But her expression barely shifted. Her cold voice rang out calmly.

Gasps filled the air as the crowd turned to Xylia, shock written on their faces.

Seeing the shift in public opinion, Jayden smirked. Luckily, Xylia had signed a confidentiality agreement- she couldn’t reveal the truth. If she spoke up, he could even reclaim the billion. It was a win–win
Feeling confident, he turned back to Vivian. “Ms. Foster, someone like her isn’t worthy of your friendship.”
