Five minutes later, Luna had changed and was warming herself in front of a heater. The warm air gradually brought her back to her senses. She stared blankly at the man in front of her. “Do you know me?” she asked. She hadn’t forgotten that the man had addressed her as Ms. Baxter earlier.
Horace Lancaster smiled faintly. He had changed into a casual gray suit, looking suave and poised.
“I know Mr. Flint Baxter,” he replied.
Luna paused for a few seconds before guessing, “You wouldn’t happen to be the person my parents arranged to have dinner with tonight?”
Horace smiled and nodded in response.
Luna stared at the man in front of her in astonishment.
Anyone who could earn her parents‘ favor was undoubtedly someone of wealth or status.

“I slipped in the restroom earlier,” Luna replied, lowering her head.
