At the Dane Corp meeting room, discussions were underway.
“Mr. Dane, regarding the Falvoria royal order project, we have invited Alyssa, a world–class versatile designer, to be the project director. We are currently coordinating with her…”
“The Alyssa who can design everything? I’ve heard her designs become instant hits once they hit the market. The Empress of Falvoria will definitely love them.”
Archer inquired, “When is the signing?”
“We’ve scheduled a face–to–face meeting for three o’clock this afternoon.”
Archer glanced at his watch, “That’s too slow. Tell them to come for the meeting immediately.”
“Understood.”
Meanwhile, Clara was busy sketching designs when her phone rang.
“Hello?”
Skyler said, “Boss, Dane Corp has contacted us to come for a meeting immediately. They seem quite urgent. Are you free to go now?”
Clara, continuing her sketching, glanced at the time, “I’m free. Send me the address, I’ll head over right now.”
“Okay.”
Moments later, Skyler sent Clara the location.
Clara drove off but just as she reached an intersection, a figure suddenly dashed in front of her
car.
“Hey, watch where you’re driving!”
Clara’s heart skipped a beat as she braked sharply.
“Ma’am, are you okay?”
Clara hurried to help her, concerned about any injuries.
The woman clung to her, demanding compensation loudly. Clara explained she was in a hurry and left her business card, assuring her responsibility, but the woman insisted on being compensated immediately.
Sighing in resignation and noting the time on her watch, Clara realized she was close to missing her scheduled meeting.

accident. This lady won’t let me leave. Can you go to the meeting for me?”
“You’re always so careful; how did you hit someone? You might have encountered a scam.”
“Still, it’s my fault. Just go as my assistant and keep me posted on any issues.”
“Alright then.”
After hanging up, Clara was left dealing with the noisy woman.
Skyler quickly prepared and set off to assist with the meeting.
At Dane Corp, Skyler arrived just in time.
Sorry for being late, the traffic was terrible.”
This project with the Falvoria royal family was extremely valuable, and Archer, ensuring everything was perfect, preferred to meet with the project director personally.
“No worries, please take a seat.”
Skyler sat down and noticed the man opposite her was both handsome and aloof. After staring at bit too long, he shot her a glaring look that made her shiver.
Archer sized her up.
“Are you Alyssa?”
Skyler explained, “I am Alyssa’s assistant, responsible for all her tasks. She couldn’t make it today, so I am representing her.”
Archer was displeased, “A cooperation worth four hundred million, and she sends an assistant to talk to me? Isn’t that disrespectful?”
Skyler’s heart sank, but having worked with Clara for years and accustomed to high–stake settings, she remained composed.
“Mr. Dane, Alyssa needs her inspiration for focused designing. If she gets bogged down by these minutiae, the loss will be more than four hundred million. As you know, Alyssa’s designs are sought after by more than just you.”
Archer narrowed his eyes, his gaze icy.

Skyler swallowed nervously. This man’s presence is overwhelmingly strong, on par with Fortunately, they didn’t know each other. If these two powerhouses ever teamed up, who could stand against them?
Archer scoffed, “Speaking so boldly, it seems you’re not exactly strapped for cash…”
He closed the folder sharply, “Inform Alyssa to meet me personally. If she dares to disregard this again, I can easily find a better designer!”
