Chapter 13
At four o’clock in the morning, Miranda felt extremely restless.
She suddenly regretted coming to the Gale’s place tonight to see Kelvin. Initially, she heard from the servants that Tiana had left. When she happily entered the Gale’s home, she found it was in a mess, with ashtrays, vases, and everything else shattered on the ground.
She could tell that it was caused by Kelvin’s anger. Just a moment ago, she heard Kelvin calling Ben to investigate Tiana’s whereabouts in the past few days.
Overwhelmed with fear, she quickly took out her phone and tremblingly deleted the photos and texts she sent to Tiana. Cold sweat broke out on her back.
She deleted the last text. As Tiana left, they had no more connections, and Kelvin couldn’t find out anything. A hint of joy flashed in Miranda’s mind. As she looked up, Kelvin was standing in front of her.
“What were you deleting?”
Miranda’s eyes revealed a trace of panic, and she instinctively hid her phone. She said in a trembling voice, “Nothing…”
Seeing the guilt on Miranda’s face, Kelvin remained silent. Ben understood his meaning and quickly snatched Miranda’s phone.
Five minutes later, the phone data was restored.
Kelvin opened Miranda’s chat box with Tiana.
Most of the time, it was Miranda who was texting.
There were photos of them embracing each other when on a business trip together.
In another photo, he sat in the cake shop making cakes on the night when the wedding cake was destroyed.
There was also a photo of him taking her home after the client forced Miranda to drink.
The photos were all made to present an extremely ambiguous relationship between him and Miranda.
Tiana gradually stopped replying anything to Miranda’s messages.
Kelvin seemed to see the process of Tiana’s love disappearing.
He was about to smash Miranda’s phone when several messages popped up.
They were sent by Miranda’s friend who was once said to have been beaten by Tiana.
“Miranda, all of us have come out. Have you still been bullied by that bitch recently?”
“I heard that she and Mr. Gale are getting married soon. Last time, we didn’t get our revenge on her. This time, we found some men to teach her a lesson. By then, she won’t be innocent anymore. Let’s see if the Gale family will still accept her.”
“You will become the young mistress of the Gale family then.”
A video of Tiana being unable to fight back was sent.
The laughter of schadenfreude and Tiana pitiful look struck Kelvin’s heart.
He vaguely remembered when Miranda told him that Tiana had hit her friend and was being detained at the police station. At that time, Kelvin was about to board a plane and couldn’t make it in time. He thought Tiana acted impulsively due to emotional distress, so he transferred 1 million dollars to Miranda to prevent her friend from pursuing the matter further.
When he came back and saw Tiana’s injuries, he only felt sorry for her. Why did she have to be so stubborn? She didn’t even know to bring more people when fighting. Were his bodyguards freeloaders?
He didn’t expect that it was Tiana who got beaten. She had no one to back her up at the police station.
She must have been very sad.
Kelvin tightly gripped Miranda’s phone, and the glass screen made a clicking sound.
Finally, it fell to the ground along with the flowing blood.
“Sent her on a plane to Galwiea.”
Kelvin coldly commanded. The bodyguard, upon hearing his words, grabbed Miranda and dragged her outside.
Miranda widened her eyes in fear and struggled desperately.
