“I don’t want to go! Kelvin, I don’t want to go to Galwiea alone.”
Her wailing sound was piercing and agonizing.
The social environment and security at the branch office were poor. Those who were transferred from the headquarters survived like walking dead.
No one sympathized with Miranda. The bodyguards even increased their force and threw her out of the Gale family’s gate.
“Don’t! Kelvin, you can’t treat me like this. Believe it or not, I will send that video to Tiana. Then, you two will never have a chance again.
“You can’t just transfer me alone!”
Miranda desperately pounded on the door. The freshly bandaged gauze was soaked in blood.
The Gale’s family remained quiet.
Ben didn’t come out until she was too weak to lift her hand.
He cruelly said, “Ms. Bauer, don’t worry. Mr. Gale will have your family and those friends of yours sent there together.”
After dealing with Miranda, Ben went back and saw Kelvin smoking. Kelvin was somehow pondering.
He hesitantly asked, “Mr. Gale, is it true that Mrs. Gale won’t come back anymore?”
Kelvin didn’t know the answer. He could only solve some problems.
“Go and clarify what happened at the Gale Group on that day.”

Chapter 14
During the one month that Tiana stayed at the Kellet’s place, apart from feeling a bit awkward around Martin, none of the difficulties and torment she had imagined ever happened.
On the contrary, it made her chase her dreams again.
In the past, when Tiana was at the Gale family, she had also designed clothes. However, later on, it was put on hold because Kelvin didn’t like it.
She felt an unprecedented joy in her heart as she was able to devote herself to design for the entire afternoon.
After finishing the design, she got up and rubbed her sore neck. Then she suddenly wanted to do something to relax.
After wandering about for a long time, she couldn’t decide. Just as she was about to go back to her room, she caught a glimpse of two game controllers from several years ago out of the corner of her eye.
Tiana used to love to play that when she was in college.
But this type of controller was more fun with two people, so Tiana called over Ben, with whom she often communicated, to play together.
Unfortunately, Ben was not good. They played for the whole afternoon, but they didn’t even pass the first level.
“Hurry and go, we will be able to clear the level soon.”
As the final obstacle was about to be cleared, Ben was still not fast enough. Tiana could only watch helplessly as the character fell into the trap.
“Ah.”
Tiana let out a long sigh and helplessly sat on the sofa. She had intended to relax, but now she ended up being almost depressed.
Ben put down the controller and, with a pleading face, said, “Ms. Farrell, I really don’t know how to play… Please spare me.”
Tiana still didn’t want to give up. “No, let’s try again. I can’t believe this.”
Just as she finished saying these words, Martin suddenly came back.
Ben, as if seeing a life–saver, quickly let go of the controller. “Ms. Farrell, this is really not my thing. You can play with Mr. Kellet, he’s really good at games.”
After speaking, Ben fled as if he feared Tiana would force him to stay.
Then Tiana and Martin were left alone in the spacious living room.
The game timer was counting down on the television, but Tiana didn’t dare to ask.
She remembered when she was in college, she used to pester Martin to play games with her, but he never said yes.
Moreover, he forbade Tiana to stay up late playing games for a whole three months. And during those three months, Martin made sure she went to bed and woke up early every day.
For someone like her, it was simply a torture. So she dared not bring it up again.
As the countdown ended, Tiana picked up the controller and was about to press the power button when the game character suddenly started running.
She turned her head to see Martin sitting next to her and holding the controller to play.
Tiana didn’t understand what Martin was thinking, but she picked up the controller and followed behind him.
Martin was surprisingly good. They cleared several levels in no time. This made Tiana very happy. Without thinking, she blurted out, “How are you so good at games?”
The air was tense for a few seconds, and Tiana sat still for a while before sneakily stealing a few glances at Martin.
His straight face showed no emotions, but Tiana felt that Martin was looking at her as if she were a fool.
The Kellet Group had been thriving in the gaming industry recently. How could Martin, the CEO, not know his way around these things?
Realizing this, she called herself stupid. She feared that Martin would scold her like before and tell her her brain was already damaged by games. Tiana ran back to her room, without having the guts to ask more.
