Chapter 15
Without games, Tiana was bored for several days.
Ben seemed to have noticed it and had brought back a puppy.
It was white and fluffy. Tiana liked it as soon as she saw it.
She squatted down and rubbed the puppy’s head, her eyes filled with joy. “Thank you, Ben.”
“Ms. Farrell, I’m glad you like it.”
Tiana fed the puppy and played games with it. Seeing that Tiana seemed to be in a good mood, Ben pinched his fingers and then hesitantly opened his
mouth.
“Ms. Farrell, could you please try not to avoid Mr. Kellet in the future?”
Tiana held the puppy in her arms, burying her nose in its fur, and said in a muffled tone, “I’m not avoiding Martin, but it seems he’s not very willing to
see me.”
Speaking of this, Tiana found it very strange. Martin let her move in, but he had the same cold face in front of her every day.
It was as if he tried to give her the cold treatment and make her miserable to take his revenge.
Tiana thought quietly, but Ben panicked.
“No, Mr. Kellet had intended to explain to you that day, but you kept avoiding him, so he couldn’t find a chance.”
With that, Ben hurriedly pointed at the puppy and said, “Actually, this puppy was chosen by Mr. Kellet, but he was afraid that you wouldn’t like gifts from him, so he asked me to deliver it.
“Moreover, after knowing that you’re willing to come back to him, although he never showed his joy, every single item in your room was personally chosen by him.
“Mr. Kellet was actually looking forward to your arrival.”
Tiana was surprised. It didn’t really match her impression of him.
In their relationship, he always seemed at ease. He rarely got anxious to please her.
Tiana lowered her eyes as the puppy cheerfully licked her palm and rolled on the ground affectionately.
She couldn’t help but soften her heart. For the sake of the puppy, she decided to forgive Martin this time.
