Chapter 5 

The wedding dress that Tiana had been longing for was being worn by Miranda now. 

Miranda held a bouquet of flowers in her hands and stood in the center of the candles with deep affection in her deer–like eyes. 

“Kelvin, you’re going to marry Tiana tomorrow. Let me fulfill my wish today and marry you once,” 

Everyone in the Gale Group knew that Tiana was Kelvin’s fiancée. They had different expressions as they watched Miranda propose to Kelvin in front of 

Tiana. 

Tiana was not angry at Miranda’s provocation. But Miranda was nervous rubbing the wedding dress. It completely annoyed Tiana. 

“Miranda, take off my wedding dress.” 

Miranda never expected Tiana to humiliate her in public. She shed tears and looked as if being insulted. 

“Tiana, I just want to fulfill my dreams. Since I can’t marry Kelvin, can’t I have the wedding dress as a memento?” 

A memento for Miranda? 

Tiana felt her temples throbbing She restrained her anger and emphasized once again. 

“Take it off! Now!” 

Listening to Tiana’s angry words, Miranda tightened her grip on the wedding dress, as if protecting something of her own. 

The part of the wedding dress designed by her mother was about to be ruined by Miranda, Tiana couldn’t bear it any longer and rushed over to grab Miranda, 

Miranda went crazy and started tugging on the wedding dress. She said, “This is mine. You can’t take it away.” 

Miranda was tugging the wedding dress hard. It completely wore down Tiana’s patience, Tiana grabbed onto the wedding dress and started pulling it down. She refused to stop even if Tiana’s breast was about to be exposed. 

A strong force pulled the two persons apart. Tiana was thrown heavily to the ground, with her wrist turning red from the impact. Kelvin took off his suit and protected Miranda. He softly comforted her, “Don’t be afraid. I’m here.” 

Miranda seemed to have found a support, and tears streamed down her face. She said in an agitated tone, “I just want a wedding dress, but she stripped me naked and insulted me, I might as well die.” 

Kelvin was deeply heartbroken for Miranda and got impatient with Miranda. He looked at Tiana and said, “How can you bully her in public? Come and apologize to Miranda!” 

Apologize? 

Tiana would never apologize to the person who destroyed her mother’s work. 

Tiana felt a surge of anger. The sadness she felt towards Kelvin’s betrayal instantly disappeared. 

She stubbornly ran over and tugged at the wedding dress again. Kelvin firmly grasped her wrist. 

Tiana seemed to be unafraid of pain. When Kelvin saw her swollen wrist, he finally came to his senses and quickly let go. 

With a swoosh, the wedding dress was completely taken off from Miranda’s body. Tiana, feeling heartbroken, picked up the wedding dress and left without looking back.
