Chapter 8
After returning home, Tiana sat on the sofa and held the wedding dress. She didn’t do anything as the paint on her hair got dried.
She saw her pitiful appearance in the mirror and thought about what happened before. After fighting with other students, she was as pitiful as now sitting in the principal’s office.
After the Farrell family’s bankruptcy, Tiana’s father committed suicide, and her mother fell seriously ill. She was left alone to endure the insults from other students‘ parents.
Kelvin came in and comforted her. He said, “Tiana, don’t be afraid. I’m here, and I will make those who bullied you pay the price.”
Back then, Kelvin was her harbor. Now, he was a storm that hurt her.
As she was thinking, Kelvin came back.
Tiana stared at him and said with numbness, “Why?”
Kelvin thought that Tiana still cared about what happened in the Gale Group.
“Miranda has been having a hard time. She has had her clothes taken off by you today. If she is further criticized by netizens, she won’t be able to bear it. Tiana, you will be my wife soon. It’s just a wedding dress. Let her have it for a short while, okay?”

Kelvin was suddenly taken aback. His body trembled slightly due to nervousness, and his lips quivered a few times. But he quickly regained his calmness.

“As long as the wedding goes on as planned tomorrow, you can do whatever you want, okay?”
Under the dim night, she unexpectedly saw a hint of anticipation in Kelvin’s deep eyes, as if he cared particularly about tomorrow’s wedding. But if he did, why did he let Miranda hurt her over and over again? Why did he bear to see her get sad time and time again?
Tiana still set some conditions.
“Don’t you have a branch office in Galwiea? Transfer Miranda there, and the wedding will proceed as planned tomorrow.”
Tiana was a vengeful person. Miranda wore her wedding dress, and she would embarrass Miranda in front of everyone.
Her wedding dress was completely ruined. Before leaving, she had to take revenge no matter what.
Kelvin felt a little relieved when he heard Tiana’s words. He informed the company department in front of Tiana.
After the phone call, Kelvin stayed with Tiana as if afraid of her leaving.
In the evening, Tana prevented him from going to bed. He held Tiana’s hand and sat on the floor, staying up all night.
