“Doesn’t she just want to save her dignity? She’s such a vain woman, after all.”
The crowd had a bad impression of Suzanne, and almost all of them criticized her
Suzanne simply tugged at her lips and looked completely indillerent to the chatter. She had heard outsiders‘ comments numerous times before, so they didn’t affect her at all!
Seline, however, couldn’t contain her excitement. Indeed, she just had to spend some money before she got to thoroughly trample on Suzanne and teach her a lesson!
Suzanne lightly tapped on the glass countertop in boredom before looking at Seline and saying “Then, let’s take this emerald bracelet’s price as the starting price!”
The crowd followed where she pointed and saw that the emerald bracelet was priced at 500 thousand dollars.
That amount of money as the starting price was. Although Dudore did not lack wealthy people, a starting price that was set that high was still something few could afford to play with.
Seline glanced at the emerald’s price. She curved her lips into a smile, and her gaze was filled with confidence. It was just 500 thousand dollars. It was a simple matter she could handle with a wave of her hand
She lifted her chin slightly and, with an assertive gaze, immediately increased the bid, “800 thousand dollars.
Suzanne smiled lightly and softly countered, “One million dollars.”
Seline paid that figure no mind, saying, “1.5 million dollars.”
“Two million dollars.”
“Three mallion dollars.”
“35 million dollars.”
Seline frowned tightly. Suzame still wanted to come her at three million dollars?
“Four million dollars!” she said.
The two of them continued to raise the bid until it reached eight million dollars, which was an astronomical amount to most people.
The crowd was stunned. Weren’t these two sisters? Was this really necessary?
Seline’s eyelids twitched slightly, and the hand holding her bag unconsciously tightened up a bit.

There was a huge uproar among the crowd surrounding them. Ten million dollars could buy them top–notch gems at an auction house! The crowd hadn’t expected to hear such a sum in a mall. How shocking!
Seline’s smile only grew wider. She looked at Suzanne with arrogance, mocking, “What’s wrong? You can’t counter it?”
Christine smugly chimed in, “How much money does she even have? She’s just pretending to be rich to look better–unlike you, Seline!”
Seline smiled lightly. “Don’t say that. Sue just couldn’t control her emotions before.”
Suzanne nearly laughed in frustration. Couldn’t control her emotions? Sure, that was true. She had indeed been unable to control her emotions in the past, which was why she had acted like a fool for so many years,

10.5 million dollars? Who said she had no money? To bid 10.5 million dollars on a bracelet worth goo thousand dollars–this was what they called having no money?
Seline’s expression turned ugly, and the friendly demeanor she had earlier disappeared.
