Helpless, Suzanne answered the call. In a low voice, she greeted, “Hello?
Still, her voice had unconsciously become more gentle after she answered.
“Why did you take so long to answer?” Austin’s voice sounded magnetic and exceptionally pleasant
Susanne instinctively glanced at Shane, who was focused on driving, and replied, “Oh, I was driving, What’s up?”

Austin’s lips curled into a faint smile. He was almost able to picture her expression at this moment.
He spoke gently, trying to reassure her, “Don’t worry. My mother is really looking forward to meeting you”
Suzanne turned her gaze out the car window and attempted to calm her nerves.
