Chapter 66
The women giggled excitedly while the men began to wolf–whistle.
Before Marsha could say anything, someone else piped up, “Let’s go big or go home. Mr. Movie Star, pick one of the women randomly to kiss!”
Some of the women in the crowd had already begun to squeal with delight.
After all, a kiss from Jenson was quite coveted.
It was even more exciting after Suzanne openly admitted that they had nothing going on between them.
Jenson frowned slightly as his gaze grew colder.
Unfortunately, everyone in the room had been brainwashed by Jenson’s good looks. Janice came forward and consoled him, “Don’t worry. Everyone’s a friend here. No one is going to take any sneaky photos.”
Someone quickly laughed and said, “Mr. Lambert, you’re not going to back down, right? You have to hold up your end of the deal.”
“What are you guys saying? Mr. Movie Star has always been a man of his word.”
Suzanne listened to them chatting back and forth and glanced at Jenson. Her eyes darkened momentarily with disdain.
She didn’t want to join the conversation, so she said nothing and silently sipped her liquor.
If Marsha hadn’t been the one who organized the party, she would have left a long time ago.
Jenson just smiled and nodded. “Okay. I won’t be a sore loser.”
He was a man of his word, but when it came to who he chose, that was a different question entirely.
He narrowed his eyes. It was too early to let Suzanne off the hook.
Amidst everyone’s cheering and hollering, Seline was looking at Jenson in anticipation. Her heart was about to beat through her chest.
It was the perfect chance to publicize their relationship.
Seline watched Jenson stand up. She had already begun to let her eyes flutter shut.
However, she felt a quick gust of wind drift past her. She opened her eyes to see Jenson walking toward Suzanne.
Seline’s eyes were wide with disbelief. What the hell was Jenson getting at?
Was he going to kiss Suzanne? Seline was his real girlfriend!
Seline began to fume with rage. She clenched her fists tightly and glared at Suzanne as if she wished she could tear her apart.
As for Suzanne, she couldn’t care less about Seline. Instead, she was looking at Jenson in disbelief. What was he trying to do? Was he really going to kiss
her?
The next moment, Jenson was already speaking to her with a smile. “Suzanne, are you willing to help me out for this dare?”
His gentle gaze and handsome features gave off a friendly, warm demeanor.
However, looks could be deceiving. After all, he cheated on her and slept with her sister!
The icy hatred in Suzanne’s eyes was practically overflowing.
Jenson’s gaze darkened with disdain at her lack of a response. It seemed to him that she was still trying to play hard to get.
Jenson slowly leaned down to kiss Suzanne amidst everyone’s cheers.
Seline stared in shock. She wished she could scream. Why Suzanne? She didn’t deserve him!
Why would Jenson choose her? Seline was Jenson’s real girlfriend!
Marsha was confused as well. Maybe they had indeed argued, but they hadn’t completely broken it off yet.
Suzanne’s expression darkened. How dare he try to taint her after he already slept with Seline? Her eyes instantly filled with a look of hatred as she shoved him away.
Everyone fell silent in shock. Had Suzanne been telling the truth?
Everyone knew about Suzanne’s backstory. She had little to no say in the Yates household. Not only was Jenson the beloved son of the Lambert family, but he was also an A–list actor. He was way out of Suzanne’s league, so why was she rejecting him over and over again?
Jenson’s gentle gaze immediately froze over like ice. He glared at Suzanne, only to see her smirk as she said, “Why don’t you go to Seline instead? My dearest sister has been into you for quite a while now.”
