Seline’s facade finally cracked as she glared at Suzanne and sneered, “Getting all cozy with a bunch of strange men–do you think this is fair to Jenson?”
Suzanne was perplexed. How could she even say something like that?
While looking at Seline’s arrogant expression, Suzanne took a step forward and glared at her icily. Then why don’t you tell me, did you think it was fair to me when you slept with Jenson?”
Selin was instantly overwhelmed by the power Suzanne emanated and Instinctively took two steps backward.
Her face turned pale, and she snapped, “Stop slandering me! Jenson and I are innocent!”
If this got out and lenson found out…
Ugh, this bitch, Suzanne!
Seline was panicking deep down but forced herself to stay composed and shot back at Suzanne, “Just because your personal life is a mess doesn’t mean you should make things up about other people.”
Then, she leaned closer to Suzanne’s ear with a smug smile and whispered, “Or did you find out how high–profile those men are and are willing to serve them?”
The thought of those extraordinary men paying attention to Suzanne filled Seline with burning jealousy!
But the next moment, Suzanne stepped forward and firmly grabbed Seline’s jaw. Her laughter was tinged with anger as she said, “Seline, is it because your mother is like this that you think the only way to survive is to please men?”
Seline’s mind was always filled with these kinds of crappy notions.
“You…!” Seline stammered, but Suzanne’s sharp gaze silenced her entirely.
Suzanne chuckled softly and said, “Seline, angering me will do you no good.”
She then released Seline’s jaw with a forceful shove, sending her stumbling back several steps until she slammed against the wall.
Seline’s eyes were filled with panic. What was the meaning behind Suzanne’s expression just now? What was she going to do?
By the time Seline looked up again, Suzanne had already walked away.
Seline bolled with anger as she stomped her foot in frustration, hatred gleaming in her eyes. “That bitch!”
No matter what, Suzanne’s lips were sealed shut. Even with things escalating to this point, she refused to reveal anything about those men.
But… Seline couldn’t shake the ominous feeling that lingered in her heart. What did Suzanne mean by her last words?
The door of the private booth swung open abruptly, catching the attention of Matthew and the others.
When they saw that it was Suzanne returning, their faces lit up with excitement.
Matthew whistled and teased with a grin, “Who would’ve thought Ms. Yates was hiding such talent? That dance was amazing!”
Though his tone was playful, there wasn’t even a hint of disrespect in his words.
Kenneth and a few others chimed in, laughing as they said, “Seriously, I didn’t expect that at all. We were completely stunned while you were dancing earlier. You were incredible!”
Kenneth even gave her a big thumbs–up in genuine admiration.
Suzanne laughed lightly, brushing away the shadows of her earlier gloom.
On the side, Jenson’s eyes darkened. Suzanne hadn’t even spared him a glance from the moment she entered. The woman standing before him now
seemed so out of reach.
Marsha rushed over and playfully tugged on Suzanne’s arm. “Babe, come sit with me!”
Her joy was palpable. Hearing people compliment Suzanne made her even happier than receiving praise herself.
Janice leaned her head to the side, grinning as she asked with curiosity, “Suzanne, who was that guy earlier? He’s so handsome!”
