Chapter 96
“Il some people keep acting like this, they’ll lose their daughter–in–law,” Felicia remarked.
Timothy turned to look at Felicia, still appearing angry. “What do you know?”
Of course, Timothy was aware that Felicia was deliberately provoking him.
Austin marrying a woman from such a background would only lead to growing, differences in their views, and their relationship would inevitably falter.
Not wanting to be bothered with what he had to say, Felicia turned away, muttering under her breath, “old fossil.”
No one in the room dared to respond, but everyone shared the same question deep down–how could Suzanne possibly know medicine?
More importantly, they had consulted many doctors with no results, yet Suzanne was the only one who could deliver results. Who exactly was she?
Frankie didn’t want to beat around the bush and went straight to the point. “Mr. Yates, when do you plan to arrange a meeting between my son and your daughter?”
He was clearly trustrated with Henry’s continual delays.

Seline leaned closer to Mandy, whispering, “Mom, he’s pushing for Suzanne to go on a blind date with Todd.”
Mandy’s eyes lit up before she signaled her daughter to keep quiet.
seline fell silent but couldn’t help the excitement bubbling within her.
Suzanne was surrounded by successful, handsome men, and Seline couldn’t stand it, thinking Suzanne did not deserve good men. Only someone like Todd would be perfect for her.
Both mother and daughter leaned in, eagerly listening to the conversation.
Henry still wore a flattering smile. “I’ll arrange it soon, but Suzanne’s been so busy lately.”
In his mind, however, he cursed Suzanne for being so stubborn.
The deal with the Lloyd family would have already been completed if it hadn’t been for her resistance.
Frankie snorted coldly. “Mr. Y Yates, you’re not trying to deceive me, are you?”
He clearly didn’t believe Henry.
Despite being on the phone, Henry stood up, bent slightly, and was very polite as he said, “Why would I deceive you? You’re my future in–law. We’re family”
His smile was strained, but it was all part of his desperate attempt to win favor–everything for that piece of land.
Frankde scoffed at his words, coldly saying, “Suzanne is busy? A few days ago, she was dancing in a bar. Don’t treat me like a fool, Mr. Yates!”
If his friend hadn’t seen it, he would have still thought Henry was serious about the arrangement.
Henry froze. What? Suzanne went out dancing?
He began to panic, hurriedly explaining, “Mr. Lloyd, you must have seen wrong. Our Suzanne is well–behaved and sensible. She would never go to such
an establishment.”
It wasn’t news to Henry that Frankie’s son was a playboy, yet Frankie still wanted a virtuous daughter–in–law.
Before Frankie could continue, Henry cut him off, decisively stating, “How about this–I’ll arrange for her to meet with you in two days. You’ll definitely be satisfied with the arrangement.”
At least he was confident that Suzanne’s beauty would be enough to impress. The only problem was her rebellious nature.
Frankle remained cold–faced, but his tone softened slightly. “If I don’t see her in three days, don’t even think about getting that land.”
Without waiting for Henry to respond, Frankle hung up the phone. Furming, Henry slammed his phone on the table with a loud bang
