Hayden observed that I had been responsive for a while and inquired once more. “Is something wrong?”
1 shook my head and turned to walk out the door. As I walked, the staff greeted me, and I finally realized that everything that just happened was real. Hayden could he be possessed!
Lost in my thoughts, I didn’t even notice that the car had arrived at the company until Ethan gently reminded me, “Mrs. Parker, we’ve reached.”

Joanna was momentarily taken aback, probably not expecting me to act so unpredictably.

Watching her dash away in those high–heeled shoes, my mind was brimming with doubts. Was it truly all right to be pregnant and still wearing such high–heeled footwear and running at such a pace?
Shaking my head, I sat down at my desk and started reviewing the materials I needed to prepare for that day.
I usually worked very efficiently, going through everything in just ten minutes, but that day… After turning a couple of pages. I realized I couldn’t concentrate on them at all.
