I didn’t answer.
If this wasn’t handled well, it could have even bigger consequences.
Marlon still hadn’t contacted me, so I was guessing things weren’t going well for him either.
Turning back was definitely not an option now.
In the silence, I noticed Zachary walking out of the hall..
He was wearing a shirt and yawning, looking like he had slept well.

I said, “Yasir, please cover me for a bit, I’ll be back soon!”

I ignored him because every second counted at that moment.
I rushed to Zachary in one breath, startling him.
“What’s going on? You… are you looking for me?” Zachary’s eyes widened in surprise.
I had been avoiding him lately. I knew he wanted that 2% stake in Parker Group, but I didn’t want to give it to him.

“Zachary, do you still want the Parker Group’s shares?” I asked directly.
Zachary looked at me in shock, “Yes, of course I do!”
“Well then, do me a favor. I lowered my voice and told him about the next arrangement.
I was concentrating on solving this problem at the moment, and I didn’t notice Hayden and Nevin happening to see this scene upstairs.
“Hayden, look at her! She dares to do this to another man in broad daylight!” Nevin seemed to have seized on something and quickly complained to Hayden.

with anything.
Seeing Lucy and Sophia about to pull each other’s hair, I gritted my teeth and urged, “Take it or leave it! You’re not the only one who’s after Parker Group’s shares!”
After speaking. I turned and left with a
solute attitude.
After just one step, Zachary spoke. “Okay, I’ll help you! What’s the hurry?”
He shouted as he walked around in front of me, smiling a little wickedly. “Why are you in such a hurry? Of course, the shares of Parker Group belong to me. Don’t worry, I’ll take care of Sophia!”
He waved at me and walked in Sophia’s direction.
I frowned as I watched him walk away,
It was hard to imagine that the manipulative man in the company and the seemingly careless man in front of me were actually the same person.
I wondered if he had multiple personalities.

He cut off their discussion before Lucy could speak, “What are you all doing gathered here?”
“Mr. Swanson? Don’t tell me you’ve lost something too?” someone shouted from the crowd.
Zachary’s face darkened, “What do you mean? Who would dare to commit a crime on Parker Group’s cruise?”
A person answered, “Well…Mrs. Jackson said she lost her necklace!”
Another person said, “Yeah, we’ve been looking for it all morning and haven’t found it!”
Someone else said, “Mrs. Jackson, tell him!”
Sophia said with considerable pride, “Yes, my necklace was stolen!”
“Madam, I took your necklace,” Zachary said leisurely.
“What? You took it? That’s absolutely impossible!” Sophia flatly denied the possibility.
She knew that she didn’t have a necklace at all, so there was no way Zachary would have it.
The people around were stunned when they heard this.
They had always thought that there was a real thief on the cruise ship, but they didn’t expect the thief to present himself.
Besides, with Zachary’s status, he wouldn’t do such a petty theft.
