Chapter 159
No one knew what Yvonne actually meant to Hayden.
Perhaps even Hayden didn’t know how much he cared about Yvonne.
It was not until he completely lost her that he suddenly realized that the love he had for her was so deeply hidden.
It turned out that the love in his heart was so deeply hidden.
Hayden’s mind was filled with Yvonne’s voice and smile, and a sharp pain suddenly came from his left chest.
He unconsciously reached out and pressed his hand to his chest, the pain came on so strongly that within a moment, his eyes went black and he lost consciousness.
He thought, ‘Yvonne… Come back…
“Mr. Parker!” Richard was so frightened that he quickly supported Hayden’s crumbling body and waved for the bodyguards. “Take Mr. Parker to the infirmary!”
Fortunately, the ship was equipped with a full range of medical facilities and a top team of experts.
Nevin then came back to his senses and followed Hayden out.
Ethan didn’t follow them. Instead, he strode over to Jamie. “Did boss really jump into the sea?”
“Yes.” Jamie nodded, then looked at the Jackson family. “They said Yvonne committed suicide. Do you believe that?”
“No.” Ethan answered without hesitation.
Jamie was taken aback, then looked delighted as if he had found someone who understood him. “I knew you…”
Before he could finish, Ethan said, “She hasn’t paid me the balance.”
Jamie thought, ‘Well, we are not the same kind of people at all!‘
He waved his hand and immediately summoned the search and rescue team to search for Yvonne.
At that point, he still couldn’t believe that Yvonne would actually commit suicide.
Ethan was not a good swimmer and knew that he couldn’t participate in the search and rescue, so he walked toward Yosef with a murderous aura.
He asked, “Why did Boss commit suicide?”
Ethan’s overbearing aura frightened Yosef so much that he trembled all over and didn’t dare to look him in the eye. “She, she said she wanted to see her mother…”
“Yes, Yvonne just misses her mother so much!” Sophia hurried over to help.
She knew Yosef’s personality was unstable, and she was afraid that if Ethan asked too many questions, he would find out something.
Ethan knew that Yvonne would occasionally go to the cemetery to visit her mother, so he didn’t refute it. He turned his gaze to Joanna, who was in a trance.
“Why are you trembling?” Ethan keenly noticed that her left hand was shaking.
Even Joanna didn’t notice this detail. After being reminded by Ethan, she subconsciously hid her left hand behind her back.
“I…I saw Yvonne jump off. I’m scared!” Joanna quickly found an excuse.

She couldn’t just admit that she pushed Yvonne.
She thought, ‘I would never admit it!
‘Anyway, now that Yvonne is dead, no one knows the truth!‘
Ethan had been on the streets since he was a teenager. He had seen people lie and knew the evil of the human heart. He wouldn’t believe a word Joanna said.
But, there didn’t seem to be any other way to continue the questioning.
As the two sides confronted each other, Sophia wiped her tears again. “Yvonne jumped into the sea. We are heartbroken! Instead of looking for your boss, you are here questioning her family. What do you mean?”
Yosef stiffened up at her words. “That’s right! How dare you question us? I am Yvonne’s father. Why would I hurt her?”
Yosef’s words made the surrounding onlookers nod their heads.
A person said, “That’s right. Sophia may not like Yvonne, but Yosef could never hurt his daughter, right?”
Another said, “I guess Yvonne really did commit suicide… So many people have mocked her. I even heard that her relationship with Mr. Parker is all an act. They’re getting divorced!”
Someone else said, “Well, I sympathize with Yvonne. It’s just a divorce, it’s not like she can’t live without a man!”
A person said, “Well, who knows?”
These people might be blinded by Yosef’s words, but not Ethan.
He had been through hell and heard of even more horrifying things than this.
Ethan stopped paying attention to Yosef and his family and walked along the railing, first observing the layout of the top floor.
There were some lights, flower beds, and a few benches.
There were no security cameras.
There were no clues on the top floor, so Ethan leaned over and looked down.
For some reason, the waves were a little high tonight.
Ethan watched as he suddenly noticed that someone in the lower left corner seemed to be taking a video.
She was facing away from Ethan, her phone pointing directly at the railing Yvonne had just jumped from. It was highly likely that she captured the footage of Yvonne jumping into the sea.
Aware of this crucial clue, Ethan didn’t make a fuss or appear overly excited.
He looked away, took a few steps to the side, and then walked downstairs.
Joanna watched him leave and hurriedly pulled Sophia into a discussion. “Mom, do you think he found something? He’s one of Yvonne’s staff. What if he keeps pursuing this matter?”
“Why are you panicking? I’ve already checked. There are no surveillance cameras here! Even if he suspects us, what can he do? Remember, deny everything and no one can do anything to us!” Sophia whispered.
Reassured, Joanna nodded.
Yosef wasn’t interested in their conversation. Before leaving, he glanced back at the railing with lingering attachment. Yvonne was his daughter, after all. She was gone just like that before his very eyes.

Chapter 159
A shred of guilt still lingered in Yosef’s heart.
“Let’s go!” Sophia impatiently tugged at his arm, dragging him away.
When Lucy learned that Yvonne had jumped into the sea, she was looking through the menu in the kitchen on the first floor below ground level.
She was also there to help Yvonne, thinking that if the cruise ship business was booming, Yvonne could earn more money.
As Yvonne said, after divorce, she had to rely on herself for everything. Only money could bring her confidence.
After Yasir came to tell her the news, the menu in her hand became unsteady and slipped to the ground.
The sharp sound stimulated Lucy’s eardrums.
She looked at him in disbelief. “What… what did you say? Who jumped into the sea?”
“It’s Yvonne,” Yasir repeated, his face full of grief.
“Is this a joke?” Lucy waved her hand with a smile, seemingly calm but her voice began to tremble. “If you have nothing to do, go wash the dishes next door! I don’t have time to listen to your jokes!”
Yasir knew Lucy wouldn’t believe him. He took a step forward, put his hands on her shoulders, and choked, “The Jackson family said she committed suicide and jumped from the top floor. The rescue team had gone down, but they said there was little hope… You should go and see…”
