The gentle toor in his voice was filled with helplessness and some emotions I couldn’t quite grasp. Maybe it was the warmth of the hot spring that made my head feel fuzzy. How could Hayden be helpless? He was probably happy enough inside to light firecrackers in celebration!

Hayden froze for a moment, and his calm eyes seemed to spark with some kind of fire as if something had triggered a reaction within him. Before long, he felt his whole body heating up.

“Nope,” I answered calmly. I hadn’t even considered dating a younger guy.

Before I could finish my sentence, my phone was snatched away! I jumped in surprise and quickly turned around, meeting Hayderis furious gazel The scene felt more shocking than the climax of a horror moviel
On the other end of the line, Lucy had no clue what was going on and continued. “It’s obvious he likes you, okay? Honestly, I think Marlon is great! A devoted and handsome guy, and he’s sweet to you. Doesn’t that make you feel anything?”
After years of navigating relationships, Lucy could spot whether a guy liked a girl in a heartbeat!
My heart nearly stopped. Hayden’s handsome face was grim as he cut off Lucy, stating coldly. “Yvonne wouldn’t dare cheat in her marriage.” With that, he hung up the phone and threw it several feet away, smashing it into pieces with a loud crash!
I jumped in shock “Are you crazy? You owe me a new phone!” I exclaimed, trying to bypass him to pick it up.
But a strong force suddenly gripped my wrist, yanking ine hack with forcel Caught off guard, I crashed into Hayden’s chest With a thud. I felt dizzy from the impact.
“Do you have a thing for Marlon?” The devilish question floated down from above me.
I was so dazed that all I could remember was him saying I wouldn’t dare cheat in marriage. Was he really so sure?

At that moment, Hayden’s mind seemed to be spinning. He had always believed 1 revolved around him, that I only had eyes for him. How could I possibly be interested in another guy? Was I really willing to divorce him for Marlon! All those recent changes in my behavior. It was all for Marion!
“Yeah! Are you happy now! You’re planning to marry Joanna too, right? You act like you’ve been so hurt, but didn’t you just want me out of your life! Let go of me, Hayden!” I was angry. I hadn’t felt this desperate to leave him before
The usually calm and composed Hayden had turned into a raging bull over the past few days. I really wondered if he’d taken some bad medication. Hayden didn’t loosen his grip. In my struggle, my foot slipped, and we rumbled together into the hot spring!
“Splash!” A multitude of water erupted, showering every corner of the room! The moment I hit the water, I distinctly felt a powerful arm wrapping tightly around me.
