Sophia picked up on their murmurs and began to sob even louder. Joanna stood beside her, glaring at me with fury. “Yvonne! My mom is still your elder! How could you treat her like this!”
“What’s your point? Should I worship her and burn incense for her?” I retorted, entirely dismissive.
Sophia might have had her way in the Jackson family, and Joanna might have played innocent in front of Hayden, but this was my house. There was no way I would let them get away with this nonsense.
