“Last night you grabbed my hand and said you’d take responsibility, that’s why I came in.” He said matter–of–factly.

“How should I take responsibility?”
He calmly uttered two words: “Get married.”

?!!
“What?” I couldn’t believe my ears.
What kind of talk is this? It was just a one–night stand, but he wants me to give up my whole life for it?
“Or I could let everyone at the company and your school know what you did. He glanced at me sideways.
“You, you, you can’t! Besides, then everyone would know you were forced into it. You’d lose face even more.”
