“I sent you a bouquet of tulips every day, and I wrote you a letter every day. Have you received them? Have you read my letters?”
It seemed he didn’t know I had already enrolled in medical school.
“You don’t need to send them anymore,” I said calmly.
“No, I will keep sending them, until you forgive me, until you come back to me.”
The atmosphere froze for a moment, and I became a bit impatient.
“I came here to officially end the mate bond with you.”
Theo seemed to want to say something, but he only opened his mouth and swallowed the words.
Elena, unable to watch any longer, cried and tried to speak for Theo,
“Theo has become like this for you, why can’t you forgive him? He really loved the wrong person!”
“Shut up!” Theo scolded Elena.
I sighed.
“He ended up like this because he was too greedy and too weak. Even though he has Alpha blood, it can’t hide his feeble personality.”
After choosing me, he couldn’t let go of Elena; after getting Elena, he couldn’t let go of me.
I didn’t want to have any more disputes or entanglements with them. I tugged on my stepfather’s arm and mind- linked him,
“Let’s finish the signing and leave quickly from here.”
After we entered the conference room, Theo’s father harshly scolded him.
“Have you forgotten what today is? You’re drunk again! How did I end up with such a useless son!”
I stood behind my stepfather and saw Theo’s hand tremble slightly as he signed.
After ending the mate bond and completing the company acquisition signing ceremony, my stepfather linked arms with me, and we left.
I glanced back at Theo one more time and said, “I forgive you if that’s what you want.”
“Really?” A glimmer of hope flickered in Theo’s eyes.
