Seduction of my Mafla Stepbrother
Chapter 9 Emma in New York is Already Dead
Sarah’s POV
Man, I never thought the dude 1 hooked up with at a bar in New York would show up at my mom’s wedding in Los Angeles a week later. It turned out, he was my new stepbrother from a one night stand. And get this, he was from a family empire worth billions.
If there was any other way for me to meet him again, I’d definitely go in him with confidence and excitement, reintroduce myself, and Just ask if he’d be down to keep dating me in LA.
But now? Becoming step–siblings? No, I felt a sore feeling deep in my hurt, and I know the only option I have is to keep my distance from him
On the wedding lawn, Federico Caposta was a whole different vibe from that wild night; he was all distant and stuff.
Federico chatted briefly with Julia and Emily, then politely bailed. “I got some stuff to handle, ladies. Enjoy the evening.”
I noticed the sun was setting, and it was getting kinda chilly
Yes, Cinderella needs to return immediately to the cottage where her stepmother lives.
Damn, I turned down the guy Julia introduced me to. No way she was arranging me a ride home now!
Federico looked back at me and asked, “Sarah, you erashing here tonight?”
I caught the death stares from the two women across from me and quickly waved my hand. “Nah, I guess not. Til head home; it’s closer to The hospital where I work.”
He nodded, then took off his suit jacket and draped it over my shoulder.
Emily gasped and quickly covered her mouth, realizing how rude she was.
Federico said, “I’ll get someone to take you back.”
He turned and snapped his fingers at a guy in a black suit nearby, uttering. “Luca’s my partner; he’ll take you home.”
He then gave a slight nod to everyone and walked away briskly.
Emily was so jealous and pissed, she stepped forward and said, “Sarah, stop trying to seduce Federico!”
Seduce? Again?
Emily was scared I would seduce her new brother, and Julia was scared would seduce her new husband. Like mother, like daughter. What
trip!
“Federico’s a professor at the business school and the future heir of Capesta. He won’t be swayed by your face and your perky butt,” Emily retorted.
Is that so? What a shame, your pretty face and perky butt won’t get a shot either. He’s our stepbrother, right?” I fired back and emphasized the word “we“. Emily became even angrier.
“Mom!”
Julia grabbed Emily’s hand and gently comforted her, “Emily, focus on your own stuff Federico’s great, but he’s your stepbrother now and your future boss. Don’t worry, you’ll get what you want.”

But Julia’s look at me was pure hatred. Not only hatred, but also fent.

She demanded, “Sarah, go home and don’t come back to the Caposta Manor. This place has nothing to do with you.”

“Walt! Don’t forget to take off the jewelry, not a single piece missing! Those are gifts from Riccardo to my daughter, and my daughter is only Emily,”
With Julia’s support. Emily smiled even more smugly.
I turned my head away, looking e indifferent. “Of course, ina’am.”
Then I turned my head and sniffed the suit on my shoulders, saying, “Nice scent. Seems like Federico has good taste in cologne. I’ll keep

*Sarah, you’re such a bitch.”
Emily’s face twisted with anger, and she even tried to snatch the jacket quickly left.

A man in black approached. “Miss Davis, please get in the car. Til take you home.”
“Luca?” I asked.
He nodded and opened the car door. It was still that extended Cadillac
Thanks,” I said.
But as soon as I got halfway into the car, I realized there was someone else inside!
When I saw the face, my heart almost stopped!
My first reaction was to get out of the car and run away from it. But a strong hand grabbed me and pulled me into second, I crashed into his chest.

The door slammed shut, and the partition behind the driver’s seat rose. The engine roared, and the car sped down the estate’s driveway.

“Emma Watson?”
“Hey, Alex. Long time no see. Why are you waiting for me in the car?”
“Because here, you and I can be not Sarah Davis and Federico Caposta, he replied.
I corrected, “No, we will never be Emma and Alex again.”
The passion of that night and the romantic date the next day flooded my mind again. If there ever was a perfect blend of sex mate and

soul mate, the only man I could think of was him.
Man, it would be so much easier if he was just a truck driver or something. God was so kind to send him into my life, but now he has arranged my relationship with him so cruelly.
I sighed silently.
“Sorry, Federico, I haven’t been drinking today, well, not much anyway im totally sober now. And we’re in Los Angeles, not New York. Emma only existed for those two days. After that, she was gone.”
He squinted his eyes and licked his lips.
I swallowed hard and tried to scoot away from him.
The man standing before me was nothing like the gentleman I remembered–he was radiating pure menace.
Yes, menace. His gaze was sharp and gleaming, like a knife poised to strike at any moment.
I suddenly remembered the criminal rumors of the Caposta family mentioned by the guests at the wedding.
“Emma is always alive! In my heart. And,” he suddenly grabbed my neck whether you’re Emma or not is up to me.” His voice was low and commanding, and I couldn’t help but tremble all over
Then, he slowly approached my body, and my back was completely pressed against the car door.
Suddenly, his hand supported the back of my neck, and his sexy lips immediately kissed my lips.
His kiss was still as wet and hot, still as aggressive, just like that night in New York.
The familiar feeling washed over me.

Julia wouldn’t let me off the hook; these were gifts for Badly.
He frowned. “Weren’t the jewelry given to you?” Then, as if he understood, he nodded. “It seems your relationship with fulla isn’t great. That night in New York, you said you spent all your money on drinks and had no place to stay. Turns out it was true?”
I didn’t answer his question, carefully taking off the jewelry and placing them in my handbag.
“It’s not just because of the jewelry that I’m refusing you. More Importtly, I don’t want to tight now.” I looked him straight in the eyes. “To be precise, with you.”

I responded sincerely, “You’re completely different. Your name, your attiro, your identity, and our relationship!” I emphasized the last word..
“I believe Mr. Riccardo Caposta wouldn’t want to see his excellent child having any extra relationship with his stepsister, and you wouldn’t want any reason for your brothers to challenge your inheritance of the Caposta Manor, right?”
Federico sat back in his seat, slowly buttoning up his shirt, like nothing had happened, returning to his finance professor demeanor.
My heart finally started to calm down.
“Sarah, you really think things through for me,” he said.
The car stopped. I saw my house through the window.
“I should go home now. Thanks for the ride today. I hope we never met again.”
“About your new job.”
My hand that was grabbing the car door could not help but retract.
“Are you sure that you can handle the new job and become a successful surgeon?”
I was a little angry, “You don’t know me at all. My career has nothing to do with you. You have no right to judge me.”
He laughed, showing a set of white teeth. “It seems you don’t know much about Los Angeles Premier Cardiac Care Hospital.”
I was puzzled. “What do you mean?”
He waved his hand. “You’ll find out soon enough. Before you go, I have ne last question.”
I turned back. “Go ahead.”
“If I were Alex, not a Caposta, would you be willing to stay with me tonight…”
“No way!” I slammed the car door shut before he could finish.
