Callie seethed with determination in her heart. She was going to find a way to make the cooperation between Elysium Media and the Fox Group happen, no matter the cost. Only then would George see that she was far more capable than Rachel.

Meanwhile, Rachel returned home, already formulating a plan for Braylen. Having met him in person, she now had a better understanding of him, and could tailor her acquisition proposal accordingly.
“Elysium Media is putting a lot of effort into this project. This TV series is their biggest production in the last two years,” Herb said as he flipped through the files, passing along what he knew.
“Is that so? How’s the production going? If it’s going too smoothly, maybe we should create a little crisis for them…” Rachel said, her tone indifferent, but sharp.
Herb blinked, then quickly understood.
“You’re thinking of giving them a helping hand in the middle of their crisis, to push Braylen into agreeing to cooperate with the Sarrattop Group?”
“Exactly. If the legitimate route doesn’t work, I don’t mind using some unconventional methods. Go ahead and take a look,” Rachel said, coolly.
Rachel was no saint; business was a battlefield. She had her principles and boundaries, but using a few tricks here and there was just part of the game.
The next day, the news exploded online: Eliza Anderson, who played the third supporting role Lailah Conner in Elysium Media’s upcoming movie, had been caught in a scandal. It was revealed that she had been in a secret affair with the director, Harold Williams, who had been married for ten years and had a daughter. Photographs surfaced of the two entering a hotel after filming, only to emerge hours later, looking intimate.
The story went viral, causing a massive uproar. Given that the male lead was Rocco, a top–tier actor in an S–class film, the scandal was bound to affect his reputation, and his fans immediately reacted with anger.
Elysium Media’s PR team scrambled to control the situation, but the public backlash was too overwhelming. Fans started calling for a boycott of the movie Tomorrow’s Dawn and demanded that both the director and actor be replaced.
Despite the PR efforts, the damage was done. The film’s future was now uncertain, and Braylen, in the middle of the storm, was losing his temper in the office.
“Why aren’t you doing anything about this? Do you want the company to go bankrupt? We’ve already invested 200 million dollars! If this movie fails, we’re all out of jobs!”
No one dared speak up; everyone was at a loss about what to do.
“Braylen, no need to get so worked up,” a cool voice with a smile rang out from the door.
Everyone turned to look, surprised.
Rachel stepped in, wearing a dark blue Prada skirt and a plaid blazer. Her white blouse added a touch of femininity to her otherwise sharp look. With her red lips and a knowing smile, she exuded both professionalism and charm.
Braylen froze for a moment before responding. “You?”
Rachel nodded, a glint of calculation in her eyes. “I saw the news online and realized the negative publicity is definitely
going to affect Elysium Media. Since the Sarrattop Group is considering a partnership with your company, I thought I’d help mitigate the damage and reduce the impact. What do you think, Braylen?”
Braylen’s eyes widened. “You have a solution?”

“It’s actually quite simple,” Rachel said with a slight smile. “If your company accepts the investment from the Sarrattop Group and becomes a part of it, the influence and financial power of the Sarrattop Group will be enough to overshadow this scandal. Then, if you quietly replace the director and some of the actors, the issue will fade away.”
Braylen leaned back, a resigned look on his face.
It was clear to him that the scandal was somehow tied to the Sarrattop Group, but with the company on the brink of bankruptcy, accepting their investment seemed like the only way forward. Besides, they had initially wanted to work with the Sarrattop Group anyway, though they had hoped to drive up their own value first.
“Alright, I agree,” Braylen said after a brief pause.
Rachel’s lips curled into a confident smile.
She knew Braylen was a smart man. He understood that standing against the Sarrattop Group wasn’t a battle he could win. Wise men know when to surrender.
“Great, let’s head to the set now,” Rachel said.
After leaving Elysium Media, she headed straight to the film set. With the director’s scandal, the assistant director had taken charge, and filming continued.
When Rachel arrived, it felt as if she were inspecting her own territory. Watching the set come together, she couldn’t help but feel a sense of satisfaction. ‘Snatching this from the Fox family? Feels good. Now let’s see how George reacts when he hears the news!’
“Rachel, what are you doing here?” a sharp voice cut through her thoughts.
She turned to see Gracie walking toward her with a pointed expression.
Rachel frowned, preparing to leave, but Gracie blocked her path. “Rachel, you already have everything. Why do you still need to chase after Rocco?” Gracie asked, her voice seething with frustration.
Rachel raised an eyebrow, clearly not interested. “You think I’m here for Rocco? I came here for completely different
reasons.”
As Rachel turned to leave, Gracie’s eyes flashed with malice. She suddenly threw herself at Rachel, grabbing her leg and dragging her down to the ground. With a tear–streaked face, Gracie screamed, “I really love Rocco! Please, don’t steal him from me! He’s been with me for years! Why do you have to be the third wheel?”
“What’s going on?”
“Wait, isn’t that the woman who Rocco once kneeled to propose to?”
“Isn’t Rocco already with someone? Why is this woman trying to steal him?”
“She looks so cold–hearted. She’s just standing there while the other girl is begging her on the ground. How can she be so heartless?”
Surrounded by the murmurs of onlookers, Rachel looked down at Gracie, who was still crying and shouting. “Gracie, I actually overestimated you. So, this is what you’ve become?”
Gracie gritted her teeth. “Rachel, I have no choice! If you’re going to keep trying to steal Rocco from me, then I’ll drag you down with me. If I can’t have him, no one else will!”
Rachel was reminded of herself when she first learned about George and Callie’s situation. ‘Love obsession never leads to anything good
“Love obsession doesn’t end well,” Rachel sighed, almost feeling sorry for Gracie.

“You’re one to talk! You’ve never stopped going after Rocco!” Gracie snapped, her eyes burning with hatred.

As the crowd continued to gather, some bystanders spoke up in Gracie’s defense. “Can’t you show a little sympathy? She’s a woman too. How can you just stand there while she’s crying like this?”
Rachel just sighed, knowing that some battles weren’t worth fighting. Gracie’s self–destructive obsession was beyond her help.
