Chapter 69
Could it be that Perla was a fan of Aryan! Rachel was stunned. Hearing Aryan’s name in this context made her momentarily lose her bearings.
Herb, too, had picked upon it. He paused, pointing at the bag. This is Aryan’s signed bag?”
Perla’s eyes filled with tears as she wailed at Herb, the one responsible, her voice breaking, “Yes, it’s Aryan’s signed bag, and you’ll never be able to repler a. You’ll pay for this
Rachel quickly intervened. “Wait, Miss Hoover, it’s not that big of a deal, is it
Perla stared at Rachel as if she were insane. “What did you just say? Not a big deal! Are you out of your mind”
The man behind them, sneering with disdain, added, “You have no idea, do you? Aryan’s signature is practically impossible to get. He never meets fans, not even for millionaires. Do you know how rare that is! That signature might be the only one of its kind. You’re done for.”
Perla, now sobbing uncontrollably, shouted, “I want you both out of Burenbeim City. I want you gone from the Sarrattop Group. I never want to see your faces again. You will both pay!”
In a fit of rage, she shoved Herb.
Herb, stunned by the strength behind the push, nearly stumbled, realizing just how furious Perla was
You get them! Grab these two idiots?” Perla yelled.
The bodyguards, probably having never seen their boss this furious, were momentarily frozen, unsure what to do. After a pause, they finally started to move, but Rachel was quick to stop den.
“Wait! I can get Aryan’s signature. Just give me a second!” Rachel said.
Perla blinked, pausing in disbelief, her voice shaky. “What did you just say?”
Rachel repeated, “It’s just a signed bag, right? I can get you another one.
The statt behind them erupted in derisive laughter. “Are you serious? Who do you think you are! Don’t you understandt Aryan never meets his fans, and he sure as hell won’t sign anything for them. Not even for billionaires. Got it?”
Perla, already ferling helpless, said through gritted teeth, “Exactly, Aryan isn’t just any celebrity. He’s a superstar, do you get it?
Rachel nodded confidently, “I can guarantee I’ll get it for you”
You think you can get it?” Perla, her face streaked with tears, looked up, eyes burning with skepticism.
*T’ll call Aryan right now,” Rachel raised her phone high, as if the proof were already in her hands.
Perla froze, blinking in disbelief. “What are you talking about! How do you have Aryan’s number?”
Herbs, not missing a beat, added, “Other people might not have it, but she does.”
The staff, still not convinced, shot them skeptical glances.
Rachel united nonchalantly, unfazed. “Trust me, Miss Hoover, I really do know Aryan. If you don’t believe me, just wait. I’ll call him right now You’ll see for yourself
Perla’s eyes widened as she processed the statement. Part of her still couldn’t believe it, but she also wondered why Rachel sounded so sure of hendf
“Go ahead, call him. Show us. The man behind Perla sneered, eager to see her fail.
Rachel gave him a dismissive Inok, rolling her eyes. She turned back to Perla and smiled. “So, Miss Hoover, do you want me to give it a try?”
Perla, wide–eyed, nodded frantically. “Yes, yes, do ji now!”
Rachel quickly dialed Aryan’s number and hit the call button. The phone rang once, then twice, before Aryan picked up almost immediately.
“Wow, who’s calling me this early?” Aryan’s voice came through the phone, full of surprise.
Rachel chuckled softly. “What’s up? Am I not allowed to call you?
“Of course you can! How could I ever say no?” Aryan responded, laughing. “Your dad mentioned you’re coming back to Burenheun City. I’ve been wondering when I could catch up with you, but these endless shoots are driving me crazy. You’re not mad at me, are you?”
“No, it’s fine. When you’re here, I might not have time to see you anyway. You don’t know how crazy things are at the company.”

Arvan, realizing the conversation was getting too personal, quickly changed the subject, not wanting Rachel to feel burdened by work stress.
Herb glanced around at the stunned staff, who were still in shock. He quietly reminded Rachel, “Don’t forget, we’ve got an audience here. Maybe save the small talk for later?”
Rachel immediately caught on, clearing her throat. “Right, sorry. Actually, Mr. Cooper, I need your help with something”
Aryan’s tone shifted, immediately picking up on the urgency in Rachel’s voice. “What’s going on?”
Rachel explained, “Well, we accidentally ruined a fan’s signed bag. We were hoping we could ask if you could sign another one for us.”
Aryan’s voice immediately softened with understanding. “Of course, no problem at all.”
Rachel looked up at Perla and smiled. “Got it. We’re good.”
Perla blinked, almost unable to process what had just happened. For a moment, she stood frozen, unsure
if she was dreaming.
But then the man behind her suddenly snapped, “Wait a second! Just because you said it’s Aryan doesn’t mean it’s him. You think we’re buying this?
You think we’re idiots”
That was when Perla finally seemed to wake up. Her face twisted in confusion and disbelief. “Are you… are you lying to me?”
The man smirked. “Of course she’s lying! You can’t just go around messing with Miss Hoover’s stuff and get away with it. She’s trying to pull a fast one on you
Perla’s face turned pale, her fury bubbling up.
Rachel, unfazed, shot a look at the man, then turned to Perla. The voice, Miss Hoover. The tone. You don’t recognize your idol’s voice?”
“What do you mean. Perla was speechless, her mind trying to catch up with the situation.
Rachel casually handed the phone to Perla, saying, “Don’t believe me? You can ask him yourself.”
Perla hesitated, her hands shaking as she reached for the phone. Could it be…? Was she really about to speak to Aryan? This wasn’t some crazy dream, was it!
