Chapter 15
“How about we go somewhere elser Mortimer suggested. This was the most expensive bar in Burenheim City, but if they left for another place, if probably wouldn’t have the same vibe. He was clearly disappointed.
“Why?” George turned his head, his tone flat. The one who should be embarrassed is her, not me.
Mortimer sighed inwardly, thinking. If George wants to make things harder for himself, I am not going to stop him!
At that m
moment, Mortimer’s phone pinged with a notification. “Hey, check
ck this out. Your ex–wife’s on the news”
George glanced at the phone. The photo on the news was eye–catching–there she was, holding a wine glass and chatting with Ahmad in a VIP booth at a club. The atmosphere was intimate, their body language too close.
The headline was blunt. [Sarrattop Group Executive Involved in Extramarital Misconduct. Seen Socializing with a Prostitute at Club ]
“George, what’s going on! This news… you didn’t leak it, did you?” Mortimer exclaimed.
“I’m not that childish”
“Wow, so who else would do it! But if Ahmad’s wife sees this, she’s going to flip out.”
George let out a cold son, “She’s asking for it

And sure enough, just as he spoke. Mortimer spotted a woman storming into the bar. It could only reputation
“Uh–oh, your ex–wife is in serious trouble now,” Mortimer said, grinning like someone watching a train wreck. He even stood up to get a better look. Meanwhile, Rachel was still looking down at her phone when Herb suddenly gasped, “Rachel, this is bad. Someone just posted your photo online.” Rachel frowned and looked over at the screen. Her heart sank when she saw the photo.
It had clearly been taken from a distance, and just looking at it, it seemed like Rachel was flirting with an unattractive, greasy old man. She couldn’t help but furrow her brow at the image.
She thought, ‘So now I am being portrayed as some kind of prostitute?
“Who the hell leaked this?” Herb’s face twisted in anger
“I don’t know, but it might’ve been George, Rachel said, recalling how he’d confronted her the night before.
“What?” Herb clenched his f

Just then, a shrill voice cur through the air. “You shameless bitch! You haven’t even grown out of your baby fat and you’re already trying to steal my man. I’ll rip that slutty skin off you!“
A woman charged toward Rachel, her face contorted in fury, hands reaching for Rachel’s head.
The people around them gasped in shock. Everyone thought. This is it She’s going to get beaten up today.
But… Rachael didn’t flinch. With a slight furrow of her brow, she smoothly dodged the attack and, in one fluid motion, executed a perfect shoulder throw. Ollie was sent flying over Rachel’s shoulder and crashed to the floor with a thil

“That’s the fragile linte rabbit ex–wife you always talk about?” he asked in disbelief.

He suddenly felt a pang of reluctance to keep watching
It seemed like a mismatch—a group of burly men against one woman. But then, in the next moment, Mortimer realized he’d completely underestimated her.
The massive, intimidating men who looked like they could crush anyone, seemed like little more than playthings in front of Rachel. They couldn’t even get close to her.
No one could tell how she did it, but they all saw her casually flick her hands, and just like that, one man was pinned to the ground. With a quick elbow to his chest, he crashed to the floor in a heap.
In mere moments, Rachel had effortlessly taken down the rest of the burly men.
Ollic, fuming with rage, pointed at Rachel, her expression murderous. “You–You…”
“Hey, Mrs. Carter, let’s just talk this through, okay? Rachel interrupted, keeping her cool.
Ollie snarled, her teeth bared, not at all interested in hearing what Rachel had to say
But Rachel didn’t back down. “I think you’ve got me all wrong”
“Wrong? You dare touch my man and beat up my people? I’m going to make sure you pay for this!”
“Mrs. Carter, here’s the deal. It’s too crowded out here, and we can’t really talk. How about we go somewhere quieter and sort this out?”
Ollie narrowed her eyes, studying Rachel. Rachel smiled back, unbothered.
After a tense pause, Ollie finally nodded. “Fine. I’ll give you a chance to explain yourself. But just so you know. I’m not some fool you can talk your way around!”
Rachel smiled as she led Ollie inside.
Mortimer quickly turned to George. “Hold up. You don’t think your ex–wife can actually talk Ollie down, do y impossible to deal with. Doesn’t she know who she’s up against?”

George’s face remained unreadable, his deep eyes hidden in the shadows of the night. It was hard to tell what he was thinking
Mortimer clicked his tongue. “She’s going to regret this. Trying to reason with a woman like that? I’m pretty sure society will teach your ex–wife lesson she won’t forget”
However, just a few minutes later, Mortimer found himself eating his words.
When Rachel came back out, Ollie was smiling brightly behind her.
“Don’t worry, Mrs, Carter. I’ve got it covered, Rachel said.

“Yes, yes, of course, Ms. Sarratt. I trust you completely,” Ollie said, all smiles. She was practically glowing her earlier hostiliny gone. Now, she acted like she was best friends with Rachel.
Rachel watched Ollie leave, her cheerful demeanor in stark contrast to her earlier rage. She turned to Herb, offering a calm smile, “It’s all taken care
Herb wasn’t at all worried. After all, once Ollie found out Rachel was the daughter of the Sarrattop Group’s owner, and the one who had sent the video of Ahmad wrapped around two women, she’d realize Rachel wasn’t interested in Ahmad at all
The whole news story was just fabricated nonsense.
The others, of course, didn’t know this. That was why Mortimer was still staring at Rachel in shock, utterly unable to believe what had just happened. He slapped George’s shoulder, looking at him in disbelief.
