Chapter 3
Beside her, Willa, who had ignored Rachel for the past three years, was now walking hand–in–hand with Callie, their bond so close it looked almost like mother and daughter.
Rachel paused for a second, then her eyes hardened with a colder edge.
Willa spot out her words like a rabid dog, her insults coming out in a nasty, laughable mess. “Rachel, you shameless bitch! You pushed me down before, and now you’ve got the nerve to show your face again?
You married into the Fox family by riding George’s coattails, but now Callie’s hark. She’s got a better family, a better education, and hell, she’s even mone gorgeous than you.
“If I were you. I’d be too embarrassed to even show up, just fade away quietly. Hut no, here you are, still sticking around like you own the place.”
Rachel smirked, her lips curling up as her eyes sparkled with a hint of mockery. “Don’t worry about it. The Fox family has more than enough to offer Callic. I wouldn’t touch any of it, especially not George.”
Willa could barely believe what she was hearing, Rachel–quiet, shy Rachel–had always let people walk all over her. But today? Today, she was actually talking back.
“You don’t want it? Who do you think you are? You’re not even worth Callie’s li she jabbed a finger at Rachel’s face.
lile finger! How dare
e you even bring her up?” Willa was so furious that
Rachel’s gaze shifted to the side, where Callie was clinging to George’s back like a delicate little bird..
Rachel had originally planned to just walk away and avoid any more drama with this family, but at that moment, something inside her snapped. She decided to stay and speak her mind.
You all worship Callie, but everything she’s holding right now? It’s all stuff I’ve already used.
“You’re so eager to praise her, but these things–these are my personal belongings, bought with my marital assets. Since you’re so determined, don’t think you’re getting them when I leave
Callie thought, What? She immediately looked down at the Hermes bag in her hand. It was something she had taken from Rachel’s closet.
Since it was a limited edition, it wasn’t available anywhere else, and she had just grabbed it without thinking.
Willa’s face turned ashen, but then she exploded, “So this is what this is all about! I thought you were so impressive. All this talk, just to get a bag
These
e things were bought for you by the Fox family. How poor must you be to fight over a bag after the divorce?
Willa wasn’t even George’s real mother. Before marrying into the Fox family, she had been nothing more than a loud, foul–mouthed woman. Rachel had long grown used to her insult
“Don’t worry,” Rachel said coldly, her voice sharp. I’m not like Callie, who’s happy with second–hand stuff. If someone else uses something I’ve used. I find it disgusting. So….
Her eyes subtly shifted to George, her meaning clear. “It’s not just the bag. Everything I’ve ever used–I’m taking it with me. And if I can’t take it, III destroy it–burn it all. I’m not leaving you a single thing”
“You…” George’s face darkened visibly, his expression turning stormy with anger.
“Rachel!” Callie couldn’t hold back anymore, almost yelling. “Are you saying George’s second–hand goods?”
Rachel simply smiled, her eyes filled with amusement, and shook her head. “What’s wrong. Mc. Nunez! Are you really that naive? Do you honestly think I’ve been married to George for three years, just lying in bed with him, sloing nothing but sleeping?”
Suddenly, Rachel sirpped forward, leaning close to Callie’s ear with a mocking smile. “I should thank you, really. Your timing is perfect.
“I’m getting bored with this game and was just looking for someone to take over. And here you are, delivering yourself to me on a silver platter” Callie’s are twisted in anger. She thought. If
If George hadn’t been here, I would’ve stormed over and ripped that smug smile off Rachel’s face: Without hesitation, Rachel snatched the Hermes bag right out of Callie’s hands.
“You–Rachel: How dare you steal from the Fox family, right in from of us! Someone, get her Willa, completely ignoring the situation, rushed
forward and tried to tear into Hachel
But–she didn’t stand a chance. Rachel easily seized her hands, freezing her in place. Willa struggled, but she couldn’t move, her eyes burning with fury as she glared at Kachel.
Rachel thought, “What a joke: She had been trained in horseback riding and archery from a young age, excelling in physically demanding sports.

Chapter 3
Willa was just a lazy woman who couldn’t hold a candle to her.
“Willa“ Galle cried out weakly. “What are you doing! Is this how you treat your ellers?”
Rachel remained calm and unbothered, her voice icy. “George, keep an eye on your mistress. A woman who hasn’t even stepped into your home yer dares to interfere in other people’s mantal affairs?”
“You-“Callie’s voice shook with anger, her face turning pale.
“George!” Callie bit her lip, looking up at him with teary eyes, almost on the verge of breaking down
“That’s right” Rachel replied, her tone cold. “Let’s not forget, I’m still married to George. If she’s not a mistress, then what is she?
“Keep blocking me like this, and I might just change my mind about the divorce. If I do, Ms. Nunez here will be stuck playing the mistress for the rest of her life.”
Callie froze, her chest heaving with rage.
Willa, trembling with fury, shouted, “How dare you! Are you
you all dead! Someone, get this shameless woman out of here!”
The servants, who had never seen such a spectacle, were frozen in shock. They hesitated, unsure of what to do, until Rachel’s voice cut through the silence.
“Everyone, get in here. Take my bags and clothes and bring them out. Let’s see who dares to stop me,” Rachel said.
Without warning, several bodyguards in black suits appeared, exuding an aura of authority. They quickly pushed past Willa and stormed into the house.
George felt ajoh in his chest.
Callie and Willa were both stunned. They had noticed the Rolls–Royce parked outside earlier and wondered if it belonged to Rachel.
But they thought, That is impossible! Rachel had once been nothing more than a poor, wild girl that George had picked up off the streeti.
She had nothing–if it weren’t for George needing a wife for appearances, she would never have stepped foot in the Fox family.
The bodyguards swiftly and efficiently carried out Rachel’s bags and clothes. Callie could only watch in shock as they unloaded luxury bags worth millions of dollars. It felt like a dagger to her heart.
Then, without missing a beat, Rachel pulled out a lighter, flicked it open, and tossed it onto the clothes. The fire instantly caught, and in seconds, everything was consumed in flames–reduced to ashes.
