Clinton’s shovel slipped from his grip, clattering loudly to the ground. His face was ghostly pale as he st forward and clutched Robert’s arms.
“What? Are you being serious, Mr. Smith?”
Robert shoved him aside. “You don’t even believe me now? Do you think I’d lie to you about this?”
At that moment, Clinton’s phone rang.

Clinton fell to his knees, his face a mask of disbelief and anguish.
“How? How did this happen?”

“First, you trampled on her ashes, and now, you come to dig up her grave. My poor Ivy. She doesn’t deserve this.”
Listening to my words, Clinton knelt before Ivy’s grave with remorse. He slapped himself twice across the face and pleaded, “I was wrong. Suzy, it was all my fault. Please forgive me.”
I replied indifferently, “You should be saying that to Ivy.”
Gemma, who had been watching in silence, suddenly erupted in indignation. “Suzy, enough is enough! Even if this is all true, can’t you see how devastated Clinton is? Why do you keep rubbing salt in his wounds?”
Clinton spun around and kicked her to the ground. “Get lost! All you ever do is cry about wanting to die and that you’re depressed!
“Why don’t you just die, then? If you hadn’t insisted I accompany you to watch that damn game, I could’ve saved my daughter’s life!”
