Chapter 11
Xavier chuckled, completely unbothered by Barnaby’s angry outburst. “I can’t quite get what you’re saying, but that’s alright, as long as you understand me. Do you know who I am!”
Barnaby stared at him, confused. ‘Doesn’t this guy already introduce himself? He’s Xavier, from the city to film a show here!
Xavier smiled, “I’m loaded. My dad runs Sanchez Group, and my mom’s artwork sells for one million dollars. But she thinks I can be a bit temperamental, so she sent me to this remote place to toughen me up.

“Right now, I’m broke, but if you lend me three hundred dollars, I can get by here for a month. After that, I can of

you anything you
“What? One million for a painting Barnaby’s jaw dropped. That was a sum he could hardly wrap his head around, even in his wildest dreams. Hesitantly, he stammered in standard Clusian strangely, “Y–You… serious?”
“Don’t believe me?” Xavier pointed to the small camera on his chest. “It’s all on video. The whole country can see my promise to you. You really think I’d try to pull a fast one on you?”
Barnaby stared at the camera, his heart racing. The temptation of such a massive opportunity was too hard to resist. Being friends with
rich guy like Xavier was way better than just grabbing three hundred bucks.
I’m no fool,” he thought to himself. He forced a smile, pulled the cash from his underwear, and handed it over to Xavier.
Xavier fought to keep himself from throwing up as he took the money. He then headed straight to Danny to swap it for some change
Danny was confused but couldn’t say no to a reasonable request. Still, he couldn’t help but ask, “Where’d you get this cash, Xavier?”
Xavier held a pile of coins and replied casually, “From Yasmine. By the way, do you have any hand sanitizer! I need to clean up.”
After washing his hands, he tapped the camera on his chest to turn it on. The red light blinked, showing that it was recording
Just then, a groggy Yasmine had just woken up, rubbing her eyes. She saw Xavier placing a stack of money in front of her and said, “Yasmine, you’re my ticket to survival.”
Yasmine was shocked. “Where did this come from?”
Xavier raised an eyebrow. “I got it back from your grandpa. What do you think? Pretty cool, right?
Yasmine’s eyes widened in shock. She knew how Barnaby was once he had something, good luck getting it back.
“Pretty cool, huh?” Xavier nudged again.
Yasmine nodded and leaned in closer, whispering in his ear, “You’re like a Superman.”
Xavier burst into laughter.
Meanwhile, Danny was off to the side, holding cash and sniffing. “What’s that smell?”
Yasmine was focused on sewing a pocket onto Xavier’s shirt. Time flew by, and soon they were running late for school.
The viewers were stunned, gasping at what they saw.
That jacket costs ten thousand bucks. And she just stabbed it with a needle. Oh my God!]
[For real, is Xavier spoiling her too much”
Yasmine stuffed all the cash into Xavier’s pocket and gave it a couple of pats to make sure it was secure. This way, you won’t lose it,” she uld with a bright smile.
Xavier blinked in surprise. “Wait, why are you giving me this? This is the money from the show.”
Yasmine tilted her head, a serious look on her face, “Only adults can take care of it.”

Chapter 11
Xavier, who was just seventeen, burst out laughing. He nodded, saying, “Alright, I guess that’s an adult’s job. I’ll keep an eye on your
money
The viewers kept buzzing.
[Does Yasmine act this way because she’s been robbed before!]
INo way! If only she doesn’t scam anyone.]
[Why do you guys think Yasmine is a bad kid?]
[People from Lexerity all say that. If just a few say it, maybe it’s a smear. But if they all say it, is it still a smear?]
“But kids need money for snacks too. Here, take it. Xavier pulled two one-dollar bills from his pocket and pressed them into Yasmine’s
Tsk. I can’t believe I would be broken like this–two bucks felt like a fortune! he chuckled to himself. But he quickly shook off that thought and declared, “Alright, time to get to school
With that, the duo made their way to school. While Yasmine sat in class, Xavier snuck into Joseph’s office to catch some more sleep.
The production crew couldn’t help but chime in, “Aren’t you going to do some volunteer work? Collect some points?”
“Collect points?” Xavier leaned back casually in the chair. “What for?”
“Your phone… don’t you want it a crew member asked.
“Meh.” Xavier thought for a moment and shrugged. “It’s not like it’s that fun.”
The crew was puzzled. Xavier showed zero enthusiasm–how were they going to shoot the episode like this?
Just then, the school bell rang, and Xavier stood up to look out the window. Suddenly, he pointed at a little girl on the playground “What do you think of her hairstyle?“.
“Huh?” The crew looked puzzled.
“Tve got something to do,” Xavier said, pushing the door open and stepping outside
The crew rushed after him, hoping he wasn’t going to scare that little girl.
Xavier wasn’t there to frighten anyone. He crouched down close to the girl, studying her hairstyle for what felt like forever, until she cried from the stare.
He turned away, showing no sympathy, and said casually, “I’m going to give Yasmine that hairstyle tomorrow. It’ll look super cute on
her.”
The crew went silent, while the online viewers buzzed with shock. This is a transformation story, not some babysitting gig, dude‘]
“Yasmine!” A loud shout echoed down the hallway. Despite the thick accent, Xavier recognized who that voice was calling for.
Yasmine rushed out of her classroom, a smile breaking across her face as she spotted the woman running toward her. “Mandy.”
Mandy leaned against her knees, her heavy frame shaking slightly as she struggled to catch her breath. “Your pig- it knocked over the pen and ran into Mike’s garden. If it keeps this up, you’ll have to pay him for his veggies”
Yasmine’s expression changed in an instant. She sprinted out the door without a second thought.
As Xavier wondered when Yasmine’s family had started raising pigs, he saw her nearly fly out of the school gate. Worried that she might trap and fall, he quickly dashed after her.
Not wanting to be left behind, the crew grabbed their cameras and took off after them..
They all rushed in a chaotic frenzy. Yasmine, covered in mud and looking pale, ran as if her life depended on it. Not able to watch her struggle any longer. Xavier scooped her up onto his back and took off running.
The crew struggled with their heavy equipment and couldn’t keep up, shouting desperately. “Wait! Don’t run too
Xavier, you’re out
10 OF AM
Kachel finally returned to the Sheppard residence. “Has Xavier called yet?
“No, Mrs. Sheppard, Francis replied.
yet?” she asked Francis
Rachel frowned slightly. She had checked the point system the show used, and it was pretty lenient. With Xavier’s skills, he could easily earn at least twenty points to trade for phone privileges. But he hadn’t called home even once.
Johnny chimed in. “Tye asked his friends, and they said they haven’t seen him online on social media for days.”
His expression turned satisfied. “Has this show really hooked him? Two days in, and he doesn’t even want to play on his phone?”
“I doubt it’s that simple” Rachel shook her head–she knew Xavier too well.
Meanwhile, Jessica was crouched around the comer of the staircase, cavesdropping on Rachel and Johnny chatting about Xavier. She was just as curious about what way going on with him.
Suddenly, Rachel had an idea. “Why don’t we check their live stream?
“Well good idea,” Johnny paused before nodding. He quickly directed the servant to dust off the old TV that hadn’t been used in ages and tune it into the live stream. The screen flickered to life, but the image was a wild mess.
“Xavier! No! Wait! You’ll get hurt!” the crew shouted in panic, followed by a loud, unintelligible sound that echoed the protest of a pie
Johnny, the billionaire, and Rachel, the renowned artist, focused on the screen–a little girl was riding a pig that was galloping wildly, and Xavier was chasing after them.
They were both left speechless, and Rachel’s sharp mind was bewildered. “Is he really having that much fun chasing a pig?”
