Look at how someone’s already taken her away from you Chapter 21

The second month after Christine left, Hansen had sent her a message.

The message had been delivered successfully but was never responded to

It read, I’m planning to sell the apartment. What should I do with your clothes?”

He might have forgotten that Christine had left him a note telling him he could deal with everything as he pleased

Or maybe he hadn’t forgotten at all. Maybe he just wanted an excuse to text her

Hansen probably felt that it was his way of extending an olive branch to Christine

If Christine was smart, she would accept it

Hansen had a bad temper, but he was actually easy to please as well

Christine never replied, but the apartment was never sold

Christine’s clothes and all her old belongings were all in their original spots

It was as if she had never left

Hansen would always return to the apartment late at night if he had to attend any social events

He would lie on Christine’s bed, unable to sleep until the sun came up

In the third month after Christine left, during a long, unchanging night, just as the clock approached midnight…..

Hansen called Christine

Christine had always been a reserved and obedient woman

She came from an ordinary family but never lacked anything. Her parents loved her a lot

But because Christine had been born beautiful, the elders in her family were very strict with her

It wasn’t until the autumn after she graduated from college that she finally moved in with him

He still remembered that night
