Juliette was terrified.
Stelan’s love for Alyssa was so intense; him knowing everything would surely spell disaster for Juliette. She couldn’t even bring herself to imagine what he might do
At that moment, Juliette thought of the only way to save herself.
She quickly grabbed her live–streaming equipment, changed her makeup and clothes, and did her best to appear fragile and pitiful.
Once everything was ready, she started the live stream, silently shedding tears as her face contorted with helplessness.
“Everyone… I’m being commered… My boyfriend has another girlfriend, and he might leave me for her. But I’m carrying his child! Why is he doing this to me? He used to love me so much… How could he do this?”
Through Juliette’s embellishments, she successfully portrayed herself as an innocent woman who was being mistreated. She even reversed the truth, shifting the blame for everything she had done to Alyssa, casting herself as the helpless victim.
“Everyone, could you please help me? I’m so afraid. Will my boyfriend force me to have an abortion? I could live without him, but I don’t want to lose my child. The baby is my strength, my support. I can’t live without my baby.”
Juliette sobbed uncontrollably, tears streaming down her face as she poured out her heart to her viewers.
Countless outraged viewers rallied behind her, condemning the situation and offering support.
“How could that other woman do this to you?
“Men are no good!”
“I live close to your place. I’ll come to help!”
Some of the overly excited viewers rushed to her neighborhood, eager to protect her.
Juliette eagerly provided them with her address. Soon enough, her front entrance was surrounded by well–meaning but misguided supporters. “Julie, don’t be afraid! Even if he’s a big shot, he’s in the wrong. We’re here; he won’t do anything to you!”
Having a crowd shielding her, Juliette felt a sense of security. She gently touched her stomach.
But the next moment, Stefan, flanked by a group of bodyguards dressed in black, stepped out of a car. His face was expressionless as he gave a cold command. “Take these troublemakers away.”
The bodyguards immediately moved into action, quickly dispersing the crowd who had been standing in Juliette’s defense. Within a minute, the area around her was completely cleared
“Stefan… I’m sorry, I did something I shouldn’t have. But I love you! It’s because I love you that I said those things without thinking. I just want to be with you!” She weakly collapsed into Stefan’s arms, clutching at his clothes, begging him desperately.
Stefan sneered, gripping Juliette’s chin so tightly that his fingers left a bruise on her face. “You should never have provoked Lyssa! I warned you. countless times, Lyssa is my life. Now that you’ve driven her away, you’ll have to face the consequences.”
With that, he coldly shoved Juliette away.
Juliette staggered back several steps before she barely steadied herself. “My child! Don’t harm my child!” She could only look at Stefan in despair. She never expected him to say such heartless words.
“If Lyssa is so important to you, what about me? What do I mean to you? I’m carrying your child! Don’t you want your child? All those days and nights, you were in my bed, entwined with me. You clearly have feelings for me, don’t you?” she shrieked in desperation,
However, that didn’t ear her a single look of pity from Stefan.
