I had imagined what Niko’s reaction would be like anger, shock, disappointment, and disgust.
But no matter what his reaction was, it was insignificant to me

Niko’s arms clamped around me like iron, leaving me breathless, his sharp jaw pressed against my head. I struggled for a moment, but he held me even tighter.
The moment when my patience was completely exhausted, I heard his hoarse voice, which had been suppressed to the extreme, saying, “Kayley, thank goodness you’re okay…”
And my voice was only cold, “Niko, stop pretending ”
The person who saved me was Logan. What qualifications does he have to say such things?
