“You didn’t eat anything last night and was just focused on drinking”
“I didn’t do anything embarrassing, did 1?”
Jason smiled and said, “You were just cuter when you were drunk.”
“I won’t drink so much next time.”
I felt quite embarrassed, but secretly relieved that I hadn’t done anything worse the night before.
“It’s good that you know. You weren’t listening to any advice last night.”
Jason shook his head helplessly, but his eyes were filled with fondness.
At that moment, I looked into his eyes, and a sudden impulse to confess surged within me.
However, I didn’t know how he felt, and I feared that if I spoke, we might not even remain friends.
So, I quietly reminded myself to be more reserved and not to be too forward in expressing my feelings.
The phone rang, and it was a call from a university friend inviting me to a class reunion,
“My college classmates are having a reunion soon. Will you come with me?” I looked up at him.
“Sure.” Jason paused slightly, then’nodded,
1, of course, knew that such reunions could be somewhat awkward and uncomfortable. So, I decided to prepare and dress more appropriately.
However, after searching through my wardrobe, I couldn’t find anything suitable and decided to go to the shopping center to buy some new clothes.
