Chapter 31 The Gift
After Diana Mocked Robert on Facebook, she didn’t pay him any more attention. She accompanied Sophia for dinner and then went back to her room to rest.
As soon as she returned to her room, she found a new gift box on the table
Diana raised an eyebrow and stepped forward to open the box.
Inside was a pair of exquisite, small diamond earrings, perfectly matching the diamond necklace Sophia had given her.
Diana stared blankly at the earrings in her palm, feeling a heavy weight in her heart as if something was about to burst out
At that moment, the door slowly opened.
Diana turned around and met Howard’s deep eyes.
“Did you give me these earnings?” Diana asked softly. Without replying. Howard just walked silently to Diana, reached out to brush her hair behind her ear, and asked, “Why didn’t you tell me it was your birthday?”

Except for the small cake Isabella had once bought her, she hadn’t celebrated her birthday since.

The next moming, Diana received a call from Joshua at the antique shop. “Ms. Getty, can you come to the shop now?”
Diana raised an eyebrow and calmly said, “Okay, I’ll be right there.”
After greeting Sophia, Diana had Howard drive her to the antique shop.
“III pick you up tonight, and we’ll have dinner together.” As the car stopped in front of the antique shop, Diana was about to get out when Howard pulled her back and planted a feather–light kiss on the top of her head
Diana’s cheeks turned fish. She blinked and smiled. “Okay”
Then, Diana got out of the car and walked into the shop, unsurprised to see Benjamin standing by the counter.
But somehow, Benjamin didn’t look well.
“Wheres Mr. Thomas?” Diana asked as she looked around the shop.
“Ms. Getty, you re here.” Joshua lifted the curtain and came out holding a newly arrived ancient painting
Diana raised an eyebrow, glanced at the painting in Joshua’s hand, and then looked away.
